Mr Miller @vargoe21, how does asking a question about Govt spending during crippling sanctions translate to promoting sanctions? Are you saying pointing out irregular spending is equal to promoting sanctions? Also are insults necessary? Why not argue just using superior logic?
House Niggas justifying sanctions as they reside in SA 🤝👏👏👏👏

But again it's the motto

#ZimSanctionsMustGo

Dear Mr @nickmangwana how in the midst of crippling sanctions can Govt spend so much on luxury vehicles while the masses suffer? The new cars, including dozens of Range Rovers and Toyota pick-up trucks worth more than $40M were distributed to ambassadors and senior civil servants
Takunda Chingonzo told President Obama to his face how his company which is not on the Sanctions list was directly affected by Sanctions. And some Sanction apologist tells you that Sanctions don't affect Zimbabwe's economy!?

2day should be Anti-Corruption Day!
The crooked Obadiah Moyo & other powerful people hatched a plan to loot US$60m thru Drax meant for COVID-19.
Zimbabwe’s 5 central hospitals ONLY need US$50m for the whole year!
Yet look at Harare Hospital today.
It is NOT sanctions, its LOOTING

How much has mass corruption damaged livelihoods in #Zimbabwe? The ZNCC estimates that almost 20% of the national budget is lost through graft. Stolen funds that should build hospitals, pay teachers & medical staff. Funds which are needed for a country's development. Fact is fact
Sanctions aim at so called targeted individuals, but hurt the country&its people. They spook investors, disrupt financial transactions Btw Zim&foreign countries&disable Zim's access to credit from intl financial institutions, which are needed for a country's development.Fact is fact.

There’s no UK trade embargo on Zimbabwe: we’ve just welcomed Zimbabwe’s ratification of an EPA which will mean exporters continue to enjoy tariff & quota free access to the UK market. The UK is Zimbabwe’s 19th largest export market #itsnotsanctions #theUKstandswithZimbabweans

The common lie has been that the @WorldBank cut its lending to Zimbabwe because of sanctions which were imposed in 2001.

Read this 1999 newspaper article. ZANUPF lost @WorldBank support in 1999 due to corruption, failure to service loans & bad governance.

In what capacity does USA give orders in Zimbabwe btwn 1980 n 1999 Zimbabwe yanga isiri kushandisa those forms which you wants us to reform to hell
Replying to @mukanya_shoko
Zimbabwe doesn’t need to take orders from the US or anyone. The trouble is if you want to borrow money from America then you have to abide by their conditions. Zim can borrow from China or someone else. There are 195 countries in the world.

In reply to @peterndoro
why would america tell zim what to do, what is america in internal issues of individual country?
Zimbabwe doesn’t have to listen to anyone, but if the country wants to borrow money from America then the loans come with conditions.

The US Embassy in Harare on the The Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Amendment Act (ZDERA) of 2018 outlines the steps #Zimbabwe needs to take to gain the support of the US Govt for new lending through international financial institutions. Are the requirements too much?
"The people of Zimbabwe remain burdened and hamstrung by the unjust unilateral illegal economic sanctions. The impact of these measures on affected countries is well documented and confirmed by UN experts and humanitarian practitioners."

The authorities talk about the effects of targeted sanctions and fail to realise that this kind of kind of injustice does so much damage to a country’s reputation. Business and investment is not just about money, more and more it’s about WHO you are doing business with.

The Anti-Corruption Court deals with corruption cases.

I am charged with Incitement, yet my case is in the corruption court where Mnangagwa’s illegal Special Anti-Corruption Unit headed by his nephew Tabani Vusa Mpofu has control.

Maybe because I exposed corruption?

Tragic!

@nickmangwana this seems to be a positive development. The UK wants to help Zimbabwe business.
Glad Zimbabwe has ratified the Economic Partnership Agreement with the UK. This ensures that 🇿🇼exporters continue to enjoy tariff & quota free access to the UK market. The UK supports Zimbabwean businesses and jobs for economic development @ZimTradeAlerts @MoFA_Zw #ukafricatrade

Mr Mangwana there are so many things authorities can do to mitigate the effects of targetted sanctions. Dealing with corruption can free billions into the local economy and create badly needed jobs. #Mismanagement also a problem. Many countries have done better with so much less.
Yes, there is a direct relationship between your unemployment and Sanctions. The company that was supposed to employ you was refused international capital because the blight of Sanctions raised risk profile. You root for sanctions, you root for own hardship.

You are so right. Guns are a major problem in South Africa and sadly, many are illegal and are being used in crimes. Last year it was reported As many as 500 service pistols had been ‘lost’ over the previous 3 years by Police officials who were allowed to take their firearms home
No wonder why lawlessness is high in South Africa how can a nation have so many arms of war being kept privately in homes?South Africa will have worse of problems if it does not attend to their gun issues urgently @Sophie_Mokoena @peterndoro
