One of only two Eagles games in the last 50 years where neither team netted 200 scrimmage yards.

The other was Seattle’s 42-0 Monday night win at the Linc in 2005.

Seahawks had three defensive TDs [two pick-6’s off Mike McMahon and a return of a Ryan Moats fumble]
In reply to @RoobNBCS
I remember that. I think Ben Smith barely missed a pick 6 on that drive as well. Game cost them playoffs.
Brad was 9-20 for 62 yds, 0 TDs, 2 INTs.

Heat was 35-89.

Eagles led 13-0 after a @sethjoyner fumble recovery in the end zone after Wes had a strip sack on Vinny T.

Chris Chandler threw 2 TDs in last 4 minutes. Rod Harris fumbled a punt in between I think.

Bucs won 14-13.

@RoobNBCS Roob, How many pass attempts did Brad Goebel have that game vs Tampa when Heath Sherman ran the ball like 30 times?
Gentle Giant was incredible live.

Starcastle / Gentle Giant double-bill at Schaefer Music Festival in Central Park the day after Yes at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City was an all-time back-to-back!
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Amazing!!! Yeah my dad saw them a lot back in the day. Gentle giant too. Love them too!!
Absolutely! It's an astonishing piece of work.

I saw Yes play all four sides straight through at Madison Square Garden Feb. 18, 1974.

85 minutes start to finish.

Imagine that?

Tales is such a masterpiece.
What about:

Leave It > Lift me Up > Long Distance Runaround > Looking Around

aw yeah!
In reply to @RoobNBCS
How about South Side of the Sky --> Starship Trooper or And You and I --> Awaken?
If it's alphabetical, the Remembering and Revealing Science of God would be back-to-back 20-minute tracks from Tales from Topographic Oceans. Doesn't get much better than that.
Games with 40 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists in 76ers history:

Wilt 5
Joel 2
Great overtime defense.

Joel 43 points on 15-for-20, 15 rebounds, 7 assists

Always drama with Kelce. Someone stepped on his toe and suddenly he has two weeks to live.
Miles said after the game yesterday he expects to play against Washington after the bye.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
He's been on IR since Sept. 21.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Just put Brooks on IR at this point.
Nick Sirianni said positive news on Jason Kelce and Jordan Howard. Nick is hopeful both will be able to play vs. Washington after the bye week.

Still no update at all on Brandon Brooks.
Yeah, Rodney has been a great Eagle, and they never win the Super Bowl without his two open-field TD-saving tackles on Gronk. But he's 31 now and coming off a serious injury and he's just not where he was before he got hurt.

I like Epps. He's their best safety right now.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
@RoobNBCS Is Epps better than Rodney? Not the biggest but Epps really seems like a thumpa.
No, Jalen Hurts is the only quarterback in NFL history who's ever completed a pass when his team was down by 17 points.
In reply to @KWard25358437
So it’s consistent across the entire NFL. All teams have garbage points. You just don’t watch all teams as closely. It’s a wash.
Overall, they're 10th in scoring and 13th in yards per game.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Too bad the season is 13 weeks old 😢
And Minshew played the Jets.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Points are misleading at time. A few games were junk points when eagles where down big.
The reality is the Eagles have averaged 25.3 points per game with Jalen at QB, 12th-highest in the league, and they were 5th in 3rd-down percentage (45.1 percent).

Yesterday against the worst defense in the NFL they scored 33 and converted 46.2 percent.
In reply to @BorowskyMatt
Hurts is too inconsistent to write he believes he also would’ve lit up the Jets. Hurts has been incapable of closing out drives and getting points on the board, a total non issue yesterday. The converting of 3rd downs when needed & every single offensive drive ending with points.

In reply to @RoobNBCS
And thats with less snaps. Anyway to check the snap counts of each player. Im sure its a hugh difference

Over the last 6 weeks, the Eagles are No. 3 in the NFL in scoring [29.7] and No. 13 in points allowed [17.7].
Dude ran hard all the time. Just couldn't stay healthy.
Forgot about Ryan Mathews
I don't know about anyone else but I had them 6-7 through 13 games in my preseason week-by-week predictions:…
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Hey Roob, Would you say so far, given all the jabber before the season, that the Eagles have over-achieved/outperformed how the popular media and fans thought they would perform?
Hey, if you saw either of the Genesis shows at Wells Fargo, what's one song they didn't play that you wish they had played.
Here's my 10 Instant Observations from Eagles 33, Jets 18 at MetLife Stadium:
Minshew Mania, a place for improvement, more in Roob's obs
Eagles are 18th team in NFL history to rush for 175 yards in 6 straight games.

Nine of the first 17 did it between 1947 & 1962. So they’re 9th team in the last 59 years with 6 straight 175+ rushing games.

Only other team since 1978 with 6 straight is 1985 Bears.

A week later Joe threw four TD passes in the fourth quarter and the 49ers came back from 28-10 early in the 4Q to win 38-28 at the Vet.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
That was a great day. I loved those teams.
One of the craziest games I've ever covered!

Eagles trailed 27-7 in 2Q and 37-28 with 1:54 left.

Randall to Quick TD made it 37-35, then @sethjoyner forced Riggs fumble, Al Harris recovered, handed the ball to Wes, who ran 77 yards to the 4.

Randall TD to Keith won it 42-37.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Hey Roob! Was that Keith Jackson game the same game where Randall got his contract extension and threw for over 400 yards? That was a wild game, iirc.
Remember, they ran 31/29 times for 173/151 yards the first two weeks of the season. 4 of the next 5 games they were down huge early [Dallas, K.C., T.B., Vegas] and they really had to throw.

There were definitely times he should have run it more but a lot of it was by necessity.
How did it take 7 weeks to realize this 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
Goedert is first Eagle with 100 receiving yards and 2 TDs since DeSean in the 2019 opener vs. Wash. and the first with 100 yards and 2 TDs on the road since Jeremy Maclin at Houston in 2014.

First Eagles TE with 100 yards / 2 TDs on the road since Keith Jackson at Wash. in 1989.
Last time the Eagles allowed 18+ 1H Points and 0 2H points:

Sept. 23, 2007, at the Linc.

Led Lions 42-21 at 1/2, won 56-21.

Donovan was 21-for-26, 381 yards, 4 TD, 0 INTs, perfect 158.3 passer rating, Kevin Curtis 11-221, 3 TD, and Brian Westbrook 110 rushing, 111 receiving.
on pace for:

3,855 yards
28 TD
In reply to @JClarkNBCS
What about the guy in Indy? I thought he was supposed to be great at one point.
Eagles rushing:

Weeks 1-7: 23.4 carries for 116.7 yards [2-5]
Weeks 8-13: 41.3 carries for 210.5 yards [4-2]
Miles Sanders’ 24 carries (for 120 yards) are the most by an Eagle since Ryan Mathews had 24 (for 108 yards) in 2015 … against the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

The last Eagle with more than 24 in a game is LeSean McCoy, who had 25 (for 159) at Dallas in 2014.
So you're saying press conferences are more important than games?
They didn't really do a ton of adjusting. They just started tackling better and getting a little more pressure.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Serious question. Why did it take so long to adjust to the Jets offense? I'm guessing they just needed to get into the locker room and get it straight?
11th in yards allowed per game, 13th in points allowed per game with basically one guy playing at an elite level.
In reply to @RoobNBCS
Thanks Roob. I’m my gut, I want to fire Gannon. But there is a difference between the eye test and the data.
He's a very good coach.
Maybe we should pardon Jonathan Gannon 🤔
The Eagles have held 7 of their first 12 opponents to 18 or fewer points.

Last time that happened was 2009 and last time they held more teams to 18 or fewer points through 12 games was 2004.
Kenny Gainwell is the 4th Eagle with 200 yards rushing and 200 yards receiving in his first 12 career games:

Lee Bouggess [1970]
LeSean McCoy [2009]
Miles Sanders [2019]
Kenny Gainwell [2021]
I can't believe he dropped it. Love the call though.
Nick on whether Jalen will remain the Eagles' starting quarterback when he's healthy: "Of course."
The Eagles are the first team since the 1985 Super Bowl Bears to rush for 175 yards in 6 straight games and only the 9th team in the last 50 years.

It’s the first time the Eagles have rushed for 175 yards in 6 straight since 1949, when they won their second straight NFL title.
Gardner Minshew high-fiving a group of Eagles fans.
