I'm unsure if you drive, but as a driver his tips are always useful, and I've become a safer driver from watching his stuff. I know nothing about his personal life tbh so no idea if he's a good person, comes across as fine. Also he's brave enough to blame bad cycling.

@theJeremyVine will you be discussing this on your show the high speed of cyclists who get away with it?

“Whilst operating a drone”
In reply to @theJeremyVine
I appreciate you highlight problems with car road users, but as you point out a cyclist riding without lights whilst operating a drone all add to potential issues. The other day you were making friends with a dog in the front seat of a car that could have been unrestrained

A professional young dad, Bet you’re telling him to run a red light with his children as well for a “fun” day out. Did anyone say to you let the met decide

Cyclists Should Really Contribute Towards The Costs Of The Highways If They Want Their Own Lanes, Instead They All Spend Money On Expensive Cameras And Try To Persecute And Prosecute Drivers For Petty Infringements Who Have Paid This Isn’t The 1920’s Mud Roads Anymore
In Ashley's latest video, he suggests @theJeremyVine should have stopped at the zebra crossing for the lady circled in yellow and should have already been further right because the bin circled in red may have blocked him from the driver's view, circled in blue.

Amazing analysis.
Replying to @PudseyPedaller
Yes I kept watching that back thinking, "what did I miss?" Just goes to show: There is no limit to the amount of lawbreaking by a driver that will not be blamed on a cyclist if there is one passing.
Let me guess, it was someone else's fault.

Very sad to see a friend of mine, @PauloCampbell, a professional young dad who has politely put the case for having a local cycle lane, being caught in the sights of the abusive anti-cycling Facebook page “One Chiswick.” This abuse is plain wrong.

Some more details on this appalling Facebook page and the person who superintends it are in this 🧵…
My local anti-cycling website "One Chiswick" published this today. Who superintends this Facebook page? How does this help make the roads safer for anyone? It's just incredible how much abuse has been uploaded to a site run by outwardly respectable professional people.

CASE CLOSED: A bid to crowdfund a legal challenge over the closure of Sheen Gate to through traffic hit the buffers last week.

Take Control Of Sheen Gate fell more than £1,000 short of its £5,000 target.

Maybe local residents simply prefer having extra space to walk and cycle!

JV is a really nice guy, as well as being super talented. You are just an angry driver, angry that bad driving is being caught and punished. You're angry because you know you yourself are probably at risk of being caught. Suck it up, you great big manbaby.
In reply to @theJeremyVine
Yeah you should've, I've doled a few retired spare lights out over the years and I like to think at least one or two have gotten some use from the recipients. (btw I flinched when you passed the turning lorry, the rear corner on some can really swing out, bad place to be caught)

The irony is you go on about personal responsibility in other road users and when you post abject stupidity from a bike rider you give this half arsed post ‘I wondered’ - just call it like it is, dangerous and going to lead another road user into a life changing accident

Eh? He is a danger to no one but himself.

The camera mount on the top of your helmet is the same set up that did it in for Schumacher whilst skiing. A forward fall hitting a rock causing the mount to puncture his skull as a point load. The helmet isn’t designed for this type of impact force.

Probably. You are over analysing. The original tweet was simply highlighting the dangerous use of mobile while driving and the diplomatic immunity issue. No more
