Junta is re-arresting prisoners.

All the prisoners released yesterday or today r advised to stay out of their houses, take refuge in safe houses, or leave to liberated areas ASAP.

And we need many more urgent safe houses to accommodate them.

Tears of Joy. The Joy of Reunion.
The Joy of freedom from prisons.
The joy that is contagious to all of us.

The joy that is deserved by everyone detained for their political faiths in the prisons.

The joy we witnessed inspired to keep up the good fight for freedom for all.

They can never make it back home.

Look at those young faces & the injustices they have faced just bcos they resist the Military Coup Attempt in Myanmar.

Where is Justice for them?

Happening

Live video infront of #InseinPrison #Yangon. The 52% of both in/out of prison Junta said they release/drop charges is likley happening over the week.

Put pressure to release ALL prisoners & not to ARREST more.

Key takeaways from Junta’s mass release today:
1. International pressure work.
2. At least 7355 behind bars have been mistreated & some are your tortured to death. Justice must be served.
3. This is a tactic of distraction. Junta re-arresting some people released today.

On the 260th Day after #CoupAttempt, the Junta has arrested & issued warrants to 11,032 civilians.

Today #Oct18Coup, SAC announced they will release or drop charges for 5,636 people in/out of prison, still TBC.

That means they STILL keep 48% - 5,396 prisoners/issued warrants

not by the green book, or the political scenes set by the military for us to play along with them.

Military in Myanmar is a well-resourced Org with a strong chain of commands & a will for political power.

Demo forces r combating their propaganda, divides & rules, 4 cuts, bargaining strategies & false incentives throwing at us.

We ARE NOT playing in Junta's script again.

The most serious issue for International Community and ASEAN dealing with the Junta is they ain't politicians.

They r military men who know nothing about "political commitment or integrity".

As long as the military men take the political arena, the cycle repeats.

We ain't birds or pets who can be locked in or out anytime the Junta wants.

We demand justice to be served for those who were violently abducted & locked up for months.

#Oct18Coup

Any organizations or Govts incl/ UN who r inviting the SAC to their events must be ashamed of their initial thoughts.

ASEAN, as we say dictators' club, even managed to set a new ground for #ASEANSummit WITHOUT Junta's leader.

Now it's time to keep the pressure right on SAC.

Day 260 of #CoupAttempt, the Junta bargains the #ASEAN & Intl Pressure that they r releasing 1300+ Prisoners & will drop charges of 4000+.

Don't lose sight #WhatshappeninginMyanmar on the ground. This 8AM #Oct18Coup, #Mandalay strike was shot down & 10+ abducted.
