Be careful. You know who his Mum is right? Prue Leith. You will miss out on the Celebrity bake off invite.

I’ve worked with Prue she was nice and I’m fairly certain pro choice. He can answer for his own shitty opinions

Interesting Danny! Same goes the other way right? Forced vasectomy for you! off to the snip clinic you pop

Mandate Male Birth Control
Maybe we should mandate male birth control otherwise men will just keep knocking up women until they hit triple digits… #RoeVsWade #ReproductiveRights pic.twitter.com/Kaeua9v2h5

I’m just a middled aged woman standing in front of an Instagram account asking it why it keeps asking me to collab with a bikini company

This just makes me so hot for a three way between you and James Corden.

This morning's catalyst to shed a tear or two is from the marvellous Tiff Stevenson. I remember reading his when it was published; it has lost none of it's power or message.

I wrote this 5 years ago when the fight was still on for Repeal The 8th
A nerve wracking morning. Thanks to everyone who has already reached out, I hope it has made some feel less alone #repealthe8th @guardian

It’s a sell-out for charity at @UnionChapelUK with @JoshPughComic @tiffstevenson @YurikoComedy (and possibly others) with a meal before hand, be a shame to go to waste!

Does anyone want James Acaster + Co tickets for tomorrow night? The Big-Vid has made it too painful to laugh and it’s a dangerous idea to go. DM me.

Paul McCartney is a great advert for vegetarianism, look at him, 80! John Lennon never embraced it and he didn’t live half as long. Makes you think

How dare you say this when John Lennon was not shot with a spud gun!

Honoured. Let's be 'avin ya!

I thought this year might be the year I didn’t have to talk about it in my show

Some stand up about reproductive rights. I thought I would ditch it all after Ireland repealed the 8th but seems there are always new battles to fight. I’ll keep shouting anyway I can. I’ll write articles, I’ll talk about it in stand up. Watch, share SHOUT pic.twitter.com/rfyZN01FVz

Have anti choicers ever considered that NOT having a baby is the responsible choice for some women?

If they are in a big group of guys called 'guy' then it's ok.

Do you ever feel bad for guys called Guy especially when they are in big groups of guys?

Becasue I’m not stressed enough I’ve decided to paint my whole house. Every room. All of it. I’m a sucker for punishment.

I cocked up but I firmly believe that me apologising for it as more and more of my cock ups are revealed or even resigning for them would just irritate people - Boris Johnson

Went to a screening today and experienced for the first time the joy of hearing the HBO logo in a cinema ON SOMETHING I’VE WORKED ON. Very satisfying

Some real Decree 770 vibes off this
Justice Clarence Thomas, in his concurring opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, fomented fears about what other rights could disappear: The same rationale, he said, should also be used to overturn rights to contraception and same-sex marriage. nyti.ms/3HNOtOO

Devastated for all my female friends in the US. Shocking day
America is being run by men that think Roe Vs Wade was a tennis match

America should just have a gun run for president next time. More likely to win than a woman

The Tories love a spot of hide and seek don’t they?

That this remains true 10 years later is a testament to the Maxx itself or my joke writing skills
TK Maxx is well handy if you need to buy knickers and a panettone #youarewelcome

Disgraceful. Just pay people properly
This is the "community pantry" set up in a BT call centre for staff to use when their pay won’t stretch to the end of the month - but staff are calling it a food bank

Amen to this. Its not just computers. About 5 years ago I was in a hospital waiting room and an old fella came in and went to the reception to make an appointment. They got quite shirty with him saying that he had to make an appointment by phone. It was for the hearing clinic

Co-signs these awesome shows 🥰🤩
Visiting UK in August, decided to spend a few days in Edinburgh to see the Fringe, and have tickets to see @aliterative and Allison Spittle on Sat 13th, and @tiffstevenson on 14th.

Also it’s not just old people. I was told i couldn’t use local swimming pool without registering an account , downloading an app and booking online whilst stood in front of 4 staff members on reception. Never mind that the app was really inefficient and the website was useless.

I’d already tried to use website to find out opening hours before I left home. So then I called and was told by automated voicemail all the info was on the website. This kind of crap baffles me all the time and I’m not a pensioner

Love the ‘they’re trying it on’ tweets here . It’s not really the point. During lockdown a woman who worked in a bakery paid for pensioners bread on her Visa card because bosses wouldn’t let her take cash. Most don’t have contactless, there needs to be a AND/OR option

Why are we making it so hard for older people in this country? My parents keep saying they feel obsolete when everything is done online, nowhere takes cash and we automate to the point of not seeing human beings anymore

He was working as a GP as recently as 2013, so he knows how to use a computer. His son is just trying it on because they forgot to renew and attempting to exploit his dad’s age. But he’s 72 not 92, he was mid 40’s when Windows ‘95 came out for example
Replying to @AdamThorsson
Using a computer 10 years ago is not the same as using one now. The speed at which technology moves. Touch screen , iPhones, tablets and apps are all very different. As is reading an email vs renewing something , making online payments and dealing with captcha

So after 28 years as a season ticket holder, 16 in the same seats, my 73 yr old dad misses 1 deadline and @ManUtd terminate our tickets and sell on without as much as a phone call.
