Before confessing your secret dream (to be a writer or astronaut or whatever) at thanksgiving dinner ask yourself if you’re telling them to inspire yourself or stop yourself. It only takes one dream killer at the table to give you pause.

They're not always THAT necessary either...

Let’s add that to the checklist of new-stadium amenities. Although in Buffalo, a hot tub might do better….

Talks for a new @BuffaloBills stadium were near-silent under Andrew Cuomo. Now, with @GovKathyHochul in NY's top job and setting a timeline, negotiations are well underway.

As my 10yo got his @pfizer vaccine tonight he was nervous but kept whispering his (high risk) best friend’s name over and over. And I have zero regrets that my kid was scared and yet did something out of love for another person anyways.

What's a billion+ dollars?

A lot of $$ for sure — but even then, a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills "will not bankrupt the state or county or team," says former Lieutenant Gov. @BobDuffyROC.

That’s true but also just realizing what you’re actually hearing as an adult. There are a ton of series on tiktok dedicated to re-hearing music we grew up with. Semi-charmed Life is a great example that we all bopped to in the car oblivious that it was about cocaine and sex.
I was working on a story this summer that had me at a series of O-Town concerts… Erik from the band was joking with the crowd about the ‘actual’ meaning of those songs. (One in particular)

Has mainstream music always been this explicit/ inappropriate, or am I just paying more attention because I’ve got an 12, 15, and 17 year old?
🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️😳
Replying to @JeromeAdamsMD
I think it’s actually that a broader variety of music has made it to the mainstream. One or two generations ago, MTV & radio programmers decided what’s cool (and the music was edited down to PG-13). I’m in the same position as you btw - and I’ve been asking myself the same thing

Not one question about a dome. Otherwise good info in the article
Replying to @KevinBoniszewsk @ByMHarrington and 3 others
This could change, obviously, but the Bills have been steadfast – for a years now – that they don't want a dome, or even a retractable roof. That said, there's more to explore on that... Appreciate you pointing it out.

The steepest rise in cases is among unvaccinated children – even as a relatively small but loud chorus of parents and lawyers protest and litigate for schools to let those kids go unmasked.

This statement leads me to thinking, I wonder how hard they will have to work to sell their luxury suites? They seem they have to work hard to sell them now. I could be wrong.
Very hard - however many they have in a new stadium - and they’ll also need to work hard to land national sponsors.

The Buffalo Bills situation isn't to this point yet, but looking ahead: It's understandable to expect a billionaire to build a stadium, but if they do it, they'll look to a city where they can charge & profit more. Rich people got rich by thinking that way.

I spoke with anthem singer Doug Allen tonight about his decision to go unvaccinated and leave – for now, and possibly for good – his job performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" & "O Canada" for the Buffalo Sabres.
