So without any other public option my dad and I decided to walk home. On the way home my 70-yr-old dad tripped over the uncleared sidewalk and hurt his knee. He fell again later. Why? The snow wasn’t cleared on the sidewalks. Another public service gone downhill 5/n
Remember: @OC_Transpo costs $3.70 not to show up on time. The #11 that was to arrive at that stop at 8:08 pm didn’t show. By the time it would’ve showed that elderly woman’s transfer would have probably expired. She would’ve had to fork out another $3.70 on a fixed income 4/n
There was also no R1 bus in service so we walked from Lyon station to the bus stop outside of @CBCOttawa to wait for the #11. Come to find out that the next bus was coming in 37 mins. An elderly woman w disabilities was trying to get home, had to wait for the LRT, then #11 3/n
