Who gets the #credit for the @British_Airways馃嚞馃嚙 decision? I guess #BritishAirways does. Many others too - this govt as well as previous ones. But let us also give credit to the fact that #Pakistan馃嚨馃嚢 is a major (and lucrative) market - 200M+ people. On @barribaat with @adilshahzeb pic.twitter.com/lXmS29YgEn

Preferably improve its service FIRST and then expand its network. #PIA

I thought PIA has bought British Airways.

It would be great if they start Karachi too, as many US cities have direct flights to London. Karachi would become an easy hop.

We wish PIA would expand one day and compete other airlines who come to Pakistan and have taken away major chunk of its local passenger load to different parts of the world. BA has profitable market here for them. Guess they were hesitant to come cos of security reasons before

Instead of bringing PIA at par with top airliners, our Government is boasting that a foreign airline is resuming its operations from Islamabad. Adding insult to injury, our military spokesperson is tweeting about this. It's not his domain. Where is Pakistan First? #britishairways

Competition is always healthy. IA PIA will become best in class and industry.

Sir PIA is beholden to our personal and ethnic interests that are always bigger than state's interest.
