Up till the late 1990s, several European airlines used to fly to Pakistan - KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss Air & Air France all flew to KHI -- Swiss Air had a great deal on flights to the US with a free overnight stopover at a 3-star hotel in Geneva - Singapore Airlines was also there

KLM & Lufthansa also started exploring resumption of flights to Pakistan during previous government. One of them is expected to announce resumption soon.

that include other airlines too, like Egyptian Airlines had a great deal on UK routes. They give you stay in Cairo with a city tour and The Pyramids.

yes, and before Zia's Islam, Qantas, Air Iberai,, Air Alitalia, Cathay, SAS, TWA, PanAm, Aeroflot, Air Jordan, etc, etc.. then Pak's isolation started because of its rampant terrorism bloodshed, radical Islamism

Before long distance point to point travel on plane became possible with the long range planes.
