I stopped using my @FirstBankngr account the day i went there to do my BVN, when i got to the Customer care desk and explained to the lady on seat, her response was, “what have you been doing all these while that you haven’t done it? go to another bank and do it”

In the spirit of #SocialJustice I will be calling out @FirstBankngr by the end of day. We have tried dialogue & informed @cenbank of their gross negligence but they have refused to prioritize the case in question. We will be filing & going public @citizen_gavel #GrossNegligence

The is most of this banks thinks they doing us a favour. Imagine one in Stanbic telling me she's doing me a favour by helping me reverse my money. I told her "bitch it's my hard earned money. If I don't bank, you don't get paid"!
 
The staff of @FirstBankngr are notorious for arrogance, I left the bank because of the untoward attitude of their customer care persons

I called the line and a lady told me they can’t reverse now but in 24hrs which may take another 2weeks. I did not know when I started 😭 I wanted to go home with a laptop in hand. She sensed the tears and it was reversed immediately. That day, I never put money into the account
 
Every institute in Nigeria is a fail one, i went to maitama general hospital in Abuja, the lady issuing card, ignore the long queue and she was selling recharge card to patient and hospital staffs, until i called her out and i said i will beat her then the queue support me.
 
The reason this happens is that Engineers left their place in the field and sites and took over to job of a Finance, Banking, Accounting, Biz Mgt, Marketing, Economics etc to take the job they are not qualified for ab initio... I think Banking reforms should start from there

I have seen cases like this several times and I wonder if the workers are tired of working or just decided to be cruel..It’s totally unprofessional and frustrating.
 
Some Bankers like to take out their frustrations on customers. I am always ready for them
 
I dropped @FirstBankngr in 2017 December, I was saving for my son’s laptop and when it was complete with my Dec salary added and resumption is near. I went to withdraw at a ATM only for me to be debited and cash not collected. It took about 2 weeks before 20k was reversed😢
 
Oh wait for this! I called , I emailed, I begged like a desperate mum trying to care for her child and when it was finally reversed I went to withdraw and same thing happened! This time I sat down by the ATM in 😭. School resumes, The laptop is so needed by my son. 300 level!
 
Is that why you're pissed? In the case of your late BVN entry, it's #GrossNegligence on your part!

Because of this same attitude of theirs I did not open an account with them and opted for zenith instead, the lady that attended to me was quite rude and un-helpful (if that's a word). I just walked out of their bank.
 
 
The ignition problem we have with our ppl, especially in csr positions. Lots of them think they are doing customers a favor. They just don't understand the happiness of the client pays their wages.
 
Mgt of @FirstBankngr need to pay serious caution on their customer services. Too poor to be first. Had same encounter with them. @IbukunAwosika
 
I'm not even surprised. Their customer care staff are always rude. I've kuku stopped using that bank since 2016.

Funny as it may sound,I intentionally stopped banking with them because of this kinda issue
 
Funny thing is these banks seeing that they are mentioned, won't come and apologize and at least say something, you would think they are not online the next minutes you see their tweets advertising how cool they 😂
 
Personally I feel you have to create scene at those banks before they’ll sit up. I do all my transactions online, mobile and at ATMs. Anything asides “updating my information” that makes me go into that bank, I’m changing it for EVERYBODY!!!

You are very correct. I closed my account too with them @FirstBankngr some years back... Their Customer Relationship is TOO POOR. They spoke arrogantly and very Rude.

I understand its not polite but trust me... She might be stressed. I work as a customer service, I don't treat everyone with same calmness esp when I am really stress out solving problems and talking for so long. Sorry about that though
 
The have the absolute worst customer service ever. Like when you go there they always have an attitude when you contact them online they are even nicer but the ones at the banks lack manners. One at Mayfair refused to take money from my left hand and i use both hands.

I once could not access my bank app. I went to a @FirstBankngr branch to send #3000 to someone and the lady there said they weren't chanced, I should go to another branch.
 
The funny thing about @FirstBankngr is that their civil guards( security men) are well trained all over their branches. They will greet you when you go in and come out with smile, but their staff are always angry save for few. I don't know why.

Helped my aunt to open an account wt skye bank we cudnt do bvn as dey said mechine is bad, went to 2 oda branch stil no bvn machine, left 4 NYSC,came bck after 1yr, tried agn stil d bank has no mechine nd we wer referred to UBA nxt to dem to hlp us do bvn

This bank is fond of gross misconduct. A dispense error of 40k on my account imagine... Complained/reported to them but it took 6 months to reverse it. I closed the account immediately I got the reversal.
 
Some staff feel like they are doing you a favour. Its irritating. Without the customers they'll be out of a job.

Sincerely @FirstBankngr has lost it. Opened an account with them just for sec market treasury but I actually wish I could just do so via mail. The Office in idumota uses FAN!!! As in fan! In 2019, The office is always hot. The bank should step up!
