Amazon posts a letter from #JeffBezos, promising to create a million jobs in India.
Amazon not shy about using its homepage to get its point of view across. First Honey, now this:

Interesting letter but I cannot help but notice the absence of women in the two pictures used with Jeff Bezos's letter. Or perhaps the images used are too small to identify women in the audience. I do not know.
In reply to @AZenGuy
He he.. looks like #JeffBezos didn't need to meet the PM or anybody. Just had to reach out to the partners and users of his platform ... Pretty much all of India

"No big deal鈥 as per our commerce minister @PiyushGoyal
Yes, I also saw it and loved it.

No doubt, @amazonIN has the best service.

A happy customer I am! 馃
Amazon is adding electric rickshaws? Good.
They even have a letter in Hindi when I changed the language

Smart! Preempting the #Reliance foray and the potential antagonism from the current government! #AmazonIndia #JeffBezos #MakeInIndia #digitalindia How can you refute this?!

Wow taking away 7 crore retailers work and finding solace in giving 70 lakh jobs

Cloudtail is ownd by amazon n its one of the biggest retailer in the Amzn app. I just bought a tresmee shampoo from a shop for 鈧400 whereas it is available for 鈧300 in amazon sold by Cloudtail !!! Forget politics, this is a serious issue, Amzn playing with Indian small business
In reply to @AZenGuy
is merely shifting jobs. Same number or rather more jobs are being lost in unorganized retail sector in India. On the contrary jobs are being created in China, Malaysia,Thailand etc. as they import a lot of stuff from there and it stifles Indian industry. @PiyushGoyal

Nothing on his Washington Post.
Shit's so bad we're rooting for Bezos.
As they should. I fail to understand this Govt and it's motives completely
In reply to @AZenGuy
Oh please you are not doing a favor on us by creating jobs we are happy unemployed !

Request @JeffBezos to please send a copy of this to @BDUTT and see how she can convert it into Negativity and post an article in @washingtonpost

Firstly Amazon is the worst service provider in online marketing. More of a commission agent.

He will now focus more on India as Mukesh Ambani is launching it's own e-commerce company Jiomart. That's why re came to India suddenly and attaching with people emotionally to win the customers.
The snub from Goyal makes NO business sense at all, for a country desperate to rev up its economy.

Unless of course Amazon's plans could hurt some close to Modi Govt. Some who might have liberally opened their purse strings.

Not naming anyone.
Hum bolega to bologe ki bolta hai.
Remember Modi's BJP Government and it's ministers were against the Amazon company.
Bezos and co. sticking it to the insecure idiots in our government.

Sitting on a huge pile of cash #AMZN can literally change the way small traders do business .
Thank you Mr. Bezos for this wonderful announcement.
We too fall more in love with you everytime you come here 馃槉馃挅馃憤
What a joke @Amazon @amazonIN I am a prime member. My last purchase didn't have free delivery + I had to pay even higher to request faster payment. The package has not been recieved. The customer care tells me to wait.
In reply to @PiyushGoyal
@PiyushGoyal ko karara jawab. Thanks @JeffBezos I may have hated you for something before. But after reading this letter. Especially as a return gift to an arrogant, good for nothing minister's useless jibe. I will respect you.
Salute to @amazon for making a pledge to go green across the spectrum from avoiding single use plastic packing to using 10000 electric rickshaws for delivery. Can't be a better statement than this for rest of the businesses to take climate change seriously. 馃檹 to @JeffBezos
