Remember the guy who made an entire song perpetuating stigma against trans women (that we exist only to deceive people)?

Well he has a record label now + his transphobic song is now being monetized and I’m just in disbelief.

Posting things like this is entirely a risk. Though through our platform we allow those in control to hear our voices, it also inevitably leads to clout generation. Tiwala ako na this time, something good will come out of this. Magkaka-hustisya tayo.

I URGE EVERYONE TO EMAIL SPOTIFY: support@spotify.com Let them now that the song is a form of HATE SPEECH. And according to their terms and guidelines, this song should be taken down. pic.twitter.com/3DSL1cDLWs

An example of why we need to do this? Viva Records shut down the monetized lyric video of the song. Media outlets such as @preenph + @wethepvblic are raising awareness towards production of hate content. I believe may saysay itong ginagawa natin.
