True definition of Dedication. Kobe didn’t utilize the ‘free pass’ he could’ve used to excuse his absence in his children’s lives. He implemented a strategy with his wife to make sure he fulfilled his obligations as a father. This just makes it even harder to accept what happened

In reply to @TazerBlack
He died right when he was starting to live his life as a dad and watching his kids grow and that’s what hurts the most

I honestly don’t care about videos ripped without attribution, it’s the internet, it happens. I just want it on the record if roles were reversed here Barstool would get DRAGGED

LA traffic is so bad that it basically killed Kobe

Elon's tunnels aren't looking so stupid now uh?

In reply to @TazerBlack
Why we need urban planning and public transport. Millions of people in LA miss kids' activities for same reason.

Kobe Bryant took helicopters to avoid LA traffic because he didn’t want to miss out on family time . 😞😢

In reply to @TazerBlack
Man died because he wants to avoid traffic and make it to his kids appointments. Formula no dey

As great as Kobe was as a NBA CHAMPION, it became increasing more evident that he was an even better CHAMPION at life! 🤴🏾 #KobeRIP

his dedication towards his kids 🥺🥺🥺

He only a helicopter so he could do his job and see his kids more often pic.twitter.com/CLY139QrPi

This man got a private helicopter to be able to spend time with his fucking kids and give his wife a break. This ain’t even fair.

This shit is just heartbreaking man. He only in a helicopter to be a better and more present dad. Not to be on some fancy fly shit, but just to be a better dad. This is some sad shit man

In reply to @TazerBlack
That damn crash could of been avoided just let that fog clear first 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ why didn’t the pilot say no like the first one

Dude literally flew in his helicopter every day so he could have more time with his kids and be able to pick them up from school 😢

Shoot it in my veins! Wipes tears as in sit waiting for my shuttle to the airport to fly home!

Hoe ass roads killed Kobe.

In reply to @TazerBlack
The amount of safety checks and servicing that goes into aviation maintenance, let alone a private helicopter for someone important like Kobe. It just doesn't make sense... If these aircrafts weren't at least 99% safe they wouldn't let the whitehouse use them.

For those mouthbreathers talking all the shit about Kobe flying in helicopters....

#MambaForever

Because he wanted to spend every minute he could with his kids.

In reply to @TazerBlack
This hits home, I know what it feels like being away for long periods of time. For us fathers who really love being fathers. That time is so precious

In reply to @TazerBlack
Even if it's 20 mins in the car, I want that...

Man 💔💔💔💔💔

damn my man flew in helicopters so he could work hard but not compromise time with his kids 😔❤️

Looks like I’m staying off of twitter again today because I really can’t 💔🥺 pic.twitter.com/S0IBaUPnSN

Kobe began using helicopters so that he could be there to see his daughters off to school and personally pick them up all while continuing to relentlessly work on being better at basketball

Yeah this took me out again

This made me cry. Idk. Like the fact that he was doing just that when he died . Man his commitment to being a father . Ugh. Heart wrenching.

Man bruh purest intentions.

We should not only strive to be the athlete like Kobe but more importantly strive to be the father and family man he was

Oh God. Literally heartbreaking...

Ok so crying. He was literally every parent who feels guilty for missing his kids school activities. That’s the only reason we are talking of him in the past tense. Everything else aside, remember that. The love of a parent know no bounds.

This is killing me because my boys who are fathers literally speak about the sacrifices and choices they make to spend more time with their kids. Small moments you don’t want to miss.

His reasons for taking helicopters make so much sense. So flipping sad.

Damn. I have never given a shit about basketball, I'm not sure I've ever even heard Kobe's voice before, and I get annoyed at the hero-worship any time a celeb dies...

But man, these videos of Kobe are really hitting home.

The more you find out about him, the more it hurts. A model athlete and dad. ❤️

Traffic and city centers are out of control. Thankful he had the means to have this as an option but so should a automobile commute. Rapidly growing cities can be an issue but please city managers/council work with the DOT to fix our congested highways.

to you stupid idiots hating on him using a helicopter:

So car culture + autocentric planning killed Kobe?

Life isn’t fair. This man lost his life because he was trying to find ways to become a better father 😪

My dad was the same way..

dang... cats out here talking mad crap about him plying because he doesn't like plebs...

Dude maximized his income to spend as much time as he could to be better in all ways..

Meanwhile twitter wankheads are crapping on dude without anything close to his accomplishments.

Yeaa i remember this it was on @AROD podcast.. i feel him on drivin the kids to school sometimes thats the only time u have

In reply to @TazerBlack
Fighters, why this obsession with this athlete really? His death may be awful and painful for his family as he certainly wasn't planning on dying. However, he didn't die an indigent he died rich 🤑people's death of private 🛬🛥🍹🦀🦐🍤🍡🥛

In reply to @TazerBlack
I don’t blame Kobe in South Florida they are short cuts around Highway and busy streets in LA there is none of that you get stuck you’re stuck

That last part. Man. This shit is so heartbreaking.

As people go through old Kobe interviews in the coming weeks— especially post-playing career — we’re going to learn just how great of a father he was. For me, that’s the biggest loss from all of this. Forget basketball for a second, we lost an incredible parent and his daughter

“Even if it’s 20 minutes in the car, I want that” damn 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

I pray God gives me a man as invested in his family as he was

I pray that that man values the time he has with our children the way Kobe valued the time with his

And I pray that my future children never have to doubt their father the way these girls never had to doubt theirs

In reply to @TazerBlack
Can you imagine. I can't believe it 😔💔

Damn man. Damn damn damn.

Am I the only one confused on how this happened in this first place. Not only was it clearly too foggy to fly but why we’re they at an altitude in which there were risks that they’d crash into a mountain?

Can someone show that stupid Mr Jollof this? 😔😔

Literally start flying in helicopters because of how good of a dad he wanted to be this shit crazy

😭😭😭 I cant get it together. This is all so sad

LA traffic killed Kobe 😓

I’m not crying, you-
Nah I’m crying

Hurts even more, he wasn’t doing it because he was fancy but wanted to be a good father

Its wild bc 99% of people at this level wouldn’t have cared enough to do this for their kids

I can only pray I marry a man who's as good a father as he was.

In reply to @TazerBlack
youtu.be/hgnwjtNrYMc and his death was predicted in cartoons 💔😥

In reply to @TazerBlack
Al in a bid to be there for the family and have time with his kids. #RIPLegend

Hard to imagine, but it seems as though this man was a better person, a better father, than he was a basketball player.

In reply to @TazerBlack
He seemed like a great father and husband💔😭

Trying to be an active dad to his kids. He had the means to make it happen. Some of us would love to have extra time with our children. He tried to have this. I’m so sad.

My heart is heavy man and to think people opened thier smelly mouth without knowing a damn thing.

I feel this completely. I don't even fault anyone in this. Accidents happened and if I was in his position I would've used a chopper too so I could be there for my kids bc you don't get them days back. Rest in Power G.O.A.T. 🙏🏾

he was def a dad before anything 🥺😭

I clearly just gotta get off social media for a couple days because I can’t fathom all this .

such a great man 🥺🥺

Kobe being a family man and losing his daughter hurts most. RIP

なんでコービーがヘリを使っていたのかを本人が説明。

Yop. I’m out of here.

In reply to @TazerBlack
Really showing us that everyday fathers have no excuse to not be involved. You literally can only pray for dads like this💯 BIP Kobe🕊

😢😢 “i want that” man he was a GREAT father to his daughters 💔
