Electric cars are already cheaper than petrol cars over the total cost of ownership (all costs incl. fueling, repair, maintenance) for many vehicle segments. As battery prices continue to fall, electric cars will even have a cheaper sticker price in the next 4-6 years!
 
The exact date doesn't really matter all that much.

The key takeaways are that the #EV thematic is real & ICEs are in their twilight years.

EVs are the future. So many investment opportunities in this space, especially in #batterymetals #nickel #cobalt #manganese #copper $JRV

Although this looks promising, it is actually 2 years later than e.g. the Dutch government aimed for. Would require an extension of the incentive programmes to get to required goals.

Really? The first sedan from BYD with 600 km driving range came out in August 2020. For 30.000 $. Tesla has announced its Model 3 for 2022. For 20.000 $. In Germany (plus Tax, minus subsidy) this means 12.000 EUR. Others will follow. I do *not* see, that this takes until 2026...

It is not solely about the price but we also need a #charging #infrastructure, otherwise you will be able to drive those "cheap" #vehicles....
