Our situation is improving.

When establishing criteria for safe & sustainable reopening we should focus less on healthcare system capacity and more on ensuring people are protected from getting #COVID in the first place.

It is highly likely they will extend the Stay at Home Order until at least the end of May. That seems pretty predictable right now. But they should open up outdoor spaces and activities that are safe. Then by mid June we should start to see all these vaccines doing their work.

We should going for prevention not reaction. This is what we are told to do regarding other diseases.
No "Opening" to "create" a #Wave4 😢🆘
Australia's tracing includes genome sequencing of the virus when the epi source can't be found and an investigation to find the missing link & public list of all places the patient visited and times. We don't even have workplace testing most of the time.

I'm sorry did he just say FOCUS LESS IN THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM??? Has he not been saying the exact opposite? What is happening?

Please caution incompetent Ford on the dangers of opening too soon!

Very well said. Making decisions based on the vacancy of the icu needs to stop. So does opening and closing over and over. We need to stay the course for a bit longer while the vaccine rolls out.
"If we want safe and sustainable reopening... we need to focus on protection as opposed to just making sure we have enough ICU beds for the patients who will get Covid down the road."

Sustainable solutions must focus on the social determinants of health to prevent sickness.

Wait... hold on... you were gaslighting with capacity for weeks. Handlers have changed the narrative I guess. #onpoli

Thank you Dr. Warner, where would we be without your voice and others in medical community? You wouldn’t believe how many ppl that are grateful for your courageous voice. You’ve saved countless lives. A grateful province and nation thanks you.

Not so fast doc. Where are 2nd doses ??

You can't make people get vaccinated. Control what you can. I would think many ER Doctors would disagree
Now this sounds right to me

I appreciate what you do and the way you advocate for others.
Michael Warner is the voice of reason in the darkness of this government's reckless, "blanket lockdown is the only option" pandemic response. We should focus on people and workplaces actually at risk and ensure reasonable protections for everyone. No more "essential" business BS.

So basically what Sask is doing.

Mmmm sounds like we are just propping up a broken archaic heath system that’s seen little improvement in the past 15-months, we did our part but yet it’s same old same old, time to reimagine heath care & that doesn’t include zoom...

Classic goalpost moving. Good grief, these clowns will never halt this lockdown.

Canadians should be asking why physicians in Canada have not been allowed to use this proven med in Canada? Thousands of unnecessary deaths would have been prevented! Canadian medical academics and medical bureaucrats have a lot to answer for! pic.twitter.com/1KndFFWC65

Thank you for always being proactive and looking ahead. Planning, being prepared and actively communicating is essential.

How about early Covid treatments? Why aren't Canadian doctors talking about it? #ivermectinworks @AbCelleraBio @Covid19Critical
In reply to @drmwarner
That is Alberta’s problem. Should have pivoted a long time ago to a major focus on the R value and not # of hospitalizations.

Get back to work, Mike. As soon as the cheques for the tv spots stop rolling in... you’ll disappear back to mediocrity where you belong. #StopTheSteal #Doctrepreneurs
