How do you guys feel about this because..🥴

We’ve seen that when creators used the option and chose to turn off likes/dislikes on their videos, they can be bullied and harassed for that decision. Ultimately, it’s our responsibility to protect the YouTube community so we’ve decided to make this change across all videos

I bet this is more of a "our big sponsor company got big mad that their videos are disliked" than vs "our community gets bullied for turning off likes/dislikes." instead of kicking off problematic youtubers they remove the ability to give non-verbal criticism.

At this point, someone should just make a new YouTube site

They are claiming it’s to help small creators (bs) I’m sure it’s more of big creators getting pissed off ppl don’t agree with them.

It makes sense to me. The internet, especially youtube, is a cesspool of unreasonable hate. A lot of creators deserve the criticism, but most of them don't deserve the targeted attacks. This is a dope move imo.

What about the responsibility of protecting children from the pedos on their platform? YouTube constantly making changes no1 asked for or needs.

Not a fan. Also hilarious this happened only days after IGN got massively down voted on their SMT V review.
