If she can successfully cut to 145..she is the #1 contender. Only because there is nobody else. I don’t see much of a point to invest in her unless Dana is willing to finally build a women’s featherweight division.
It's all about star power. There's legit interest in Kayla — if she can go to the UFC and maul a couple of people then I'm sure Dana would use her the same way he uses Nunes at 145. UFC may never build a division but they'll always cater to stars.
