There is a set of Japanese comic books that explains many technical concepts at an undergraduate level, with illustrations.

It’s called the “Manga Guide” series and it is surprisingly good.

The Beast Academy books published by @AoPSNews are also full of cartoons. They primarily target ages 7-13, although they recently released the first of four grade 1 books. My 5yo is more willing to use that book, than the Singapore Math ones, which are more 'dry'.

I learned world politics, gene editing and biblical studies from Naruto, Attack on Titan and One Piece. Let’s wait for crazier, earth-shaking things to come out of Japan.

A friend recommended the Linear Algebra one to me a long while ago, because I needed to pick up one concept (eigenvalues) ASAP Overall, I'd say they're decent primers. Not enough to build a strong intuition, but certainly good for familiarizing yourself with some basic concepts
