Unsurprising that someone who has never operated a small biz doesn't get that reinvestment into expansion, hiring, wage growth is legal and not a "free ride." What's surprising is that people who don't know biz feel entitled to pass bills they didn't read that punish it.
@RepValDemings Congresswoman. Can you please tell me what a “fair share” is? I have yet to hear any politician define it. Which is kind of dangerous.
Now do churches.
Imaging what Democrats can accomplish with a strong majority! Help elect Val Demings:

Register loads of new Dem voters in Florida with

They should be happy they’re only required to pay 15%. Many of us pay far more, while making far less. ?
And thousands upon thousands of small companies will forego hiring to pay for this ridiculous bill. Raising taxes doesn’t create more jobs.
It's time that these bad acting corporations pay their fair share.
@RepValDemings @TheBlackCaucus The Inflation Reduction Act is not reparations.
FL, get this brilliant woman in the Senate!!!!!
@RepValDemings Oh and Marco doesn’t want to do his job and the governor has already become a dictator who punished anyone who goes against him teacher problems? Disney problem? Prosecutor problem? So Ron can’t really say it’s a free state
@RepValDemings Oh?
Section 10101a&b has a cookie:
A corporate tax cap.
Corps earning $100M-$1B over 3 years will pay no federal tax. And the IRA doesn't bar corps earning more from dividing to take advantage of the rate.
@RepValDemings This tweet will age horribly ... and this claim will crumble as the propagandist lie it is.
@RepValDemings Try again. Look how the average American is getting crushed. ??
@RepValDemings Florida needs a Senator who works for us not the corporations! It’s time to #RetireRubio
@RepValDemings If it doesn't reduce inflation will you resign and give our money back?
@RepValDemings You have my vote Val. Naples,Florida ?
@RepValDemings Will they raise prices even more in retaliation?
@RepValDemings But it doesn't lower inflation so why call it the inflation reduction act?
@RepValDemings Ahhh huh, you mean the corporations with 1000’s of accountants? Or the corporations that can just raise their prices? Oh yeah… this is gonna be great ?
@RepValDemings Yeah go ahead and do that then watch them close up shop and pull out go to Mexico or Canada or maybe China then the working class people suffers.
@RepValDemings Wife and I provided you early votes today.
“Fair share” ?
@RepValDemings and no more millions in TONN of community sponsorships and programs. Oh yeah, you beat the big bag wolf - COMPANIES THAT HIRE PEOPLE!!! who the hell do you think built this country?? - Hint: it ain't SOCIALIST'S!!!
@RepValDemings Know how we’d save a lot of money? By drastically reducing the size of government. We need less of you leeches. Not paying for your benefits while you buy stock in these very corporations you claim to hate.
@RepValDemings Nope we will. Nice try intern
@RepValDemings About time they pay taxes they use everything more than we do!
@RepValDemings All or most of any increase in their taxes is getting passed along to their consumers. So we all just end up paying more for the stuff we need. So much for reducing inflation and helping the middle class. Economics 101 eludes you people.
@RepValDemings No loopholes, right? That would be great! ?
@RepValDemings And raise prices on all of your constituents. Nice job.
@RepValDemings Remind people what the republicans want to do TO them? Not for them
@RepValDemings BS. Let's circle back on this in a year....
@RepValDemings So when wages go stagnant and CPI increases as costs are passed down, small businesses close or cut employees, you'll take full responsibility right?
@RepValDemings @TheBlackCaucus So many people complaining about politicians doing something to help people instead of complaining about the corporations that exploit the public. Stop using their services. We have the power here. If you’re gonna pay more anyway, find a local business selling the same thing.
Thank you, @TheDemocrats ?
@RepValDemings @TheBlackCaucus Which specific provisions in the bill lower inflation?
their fair share would be a hell of a lot more than 15%
@RepValDemings I'd like to believe you but your party keeps telling me the border is secure & "no one is above the law" while you harbor illegal aliens & protect Hillary Clinton.

We've been here before.

I have seen enough to know better than to believe the guy who gave his word "as a Biden".
@RepValDemings I support that but does the bill prevent them from raising prices to recoup what they pai in taxes?
@RepValDemings Please give examples of how the IRA helps people and also give yourself credit for voting for it in the House while noting that Senator Rubio voted against it. You must stand up for yourself more!
@RepValDemings We are getting crushed by inflation. Just cancel ALL student loan debt. And codify Roe. #CancelStudentDebt #CodifyRoeNOW #CancelALLStudentDebtNOW #RememberInNovember
@RepValDemings Thank You, Val for all your hard work!! also, the Dems in Congress, for putting "We The People" First!
@RepValDemings No one should be dumb enough to believe that. There’s always loopholes for the super wealthy
@RepValDemings Go Val!! Rooting for you from PA. We’ve got a fight on our hands here.
@RepValDemings Does it get rid of the Carried Interest Loophole? NO -

So as usual the billionaire class will not even pay the same tax rate that teachers pay.
@RepValDemings I can agree! Mr Sharpton should be paying that bill soon! Then Jeff Bezos and George Soros haven’t paid in a couple of years. Go get them.
@RepValDemings Well, they're finally going to pay something...I don't agree that 15% is a FAIR share, but it's a start
@RepValDemings @melodiefryar I mean “fair” share is a stretch. They will at least now pay “something”.
@RepValDemings and guess who will incur that added cost put on businesses? THE MIDDLE CLASS. Taxpayers will pay 20 billion more in taxes per the CBO. Who raises taxes in the middle of a recession with double digit inflation? DEMOCRATS
@RepValDemings Crazy to see the posts defending companies making $1billion+ in earnings not paying taxes. If people making $50k can pay taxes, companies making $1billion can too. Yeah sure, they can raise prices or try to, that's what competition is for.
@RepValDemings LMAO... RIGHT...
Biden’s Inflation Bill Made $7,500 Electric Vehicle Tax Credits. Ford And GM Just Raised Their Prices By The Same Amount.
@RepValDemings And watch them leave!!!!!!
@RepValDemings Your economic illiteracy is showing. Those costs get passed to the consumer.
@RepValDemings Perhaps you can define fair share for me? No one ever can. They all want it. But won’t say what it is.
This false statement shows your complete incompetence on all economic issues!
@RepValDemings What is the carbon footprint of 87,000 new IRS agents?
And thousands join thousands of small companies as well who will forego hiring to pay for this ridiculous bill. Raising taxes doesn’t create more jobs.
@RepValDemings That has nothing to do with inflation. Total unaware what Americans go through.
@RepValDemings As they pass those taxes onto the consumers and 87,000 new officials proceed to eat out our substance.
How about you democrats have yourselves audited first?
@RepValDemings HOW?

Show me in this Bill!
@RepValDemings Yeah right. Nobody believes that.
@RepValDemings Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah hope you lose. We have enough liberal hacks in DC.
@RepValDemings Dont you mean the Climate&Health bill? Isn’t it funny how the name changed over night because, ding ding ding.. not anti-inflationary you hack. It’s truly shameful such uneducated people hold public office in this country &try to lie to the american people about their finances
More proof that many elected representatives have zero clue about how the economy works. Businesses are NOT tax payers. They are tax collectors.
@RepValDemings What businesses have you run? Honest question.
@RepValDemings Go back to boot stomping innocent people with your crew.
@RepValDemings Finally, they’ll pay within about 5% of my tax rate, but they’re still paying a lower tax rate than mine.
@RepValDemings How do Democrats define the word fair?
How you just used it, and how you've used it for years where taxation is involved, does not fit any dictionary definition of the word I can find.
Of course, I'm not a Democrat politician, so don't have YOUR dictionary.
@RepValDemings You do realize that you could loot all the assets of the Fortune 500 and not cover government expenses for even one year.

And then what would you do the next year?
@RepValDemings You’ve spent your entire life working in the public sector. You have no idea what small businesses have to do to stay solvent. Your Act is going to put a lot of people out of business and fuel inflation
This is a lie. Your party plans to hire 85,000 IRS agents to go after middle class people. There are not enough millionaires & billionaires to take from to pay for your reckless spending. Your plan is to use the IRS to go after people that make over $20,000.
@RepValDemings Better question to you, when will politicians stop spending so damn much of other people's money?

I detest how you vilify tax payers as not paying their fair shares when you steal and spend like it grows on trees.

Marxists must be purged completely.
@RepValDemings And they just might start laying off tons of workers.
That's what you are causing. Any CEO will be sure to tuck it up governments ass if they feel you are trying to control them. You will soon see
@RepValDemings God forbid they improve or develop products, improve or hire workers.

Much better the politicians use that money to payback their donors!
@RepValDemings Raising the cost of business (taxing the rich and corporations) raises prices and increases inflation. Come on, can you really be this stupid?
