As a blue-collar kid who worked his way through college, I know firsthand the sacrifices people make to receive an education.

Biden’s reckless, unilateral student loan giveaway is unfair to the 87 percent of Americans without student loan debt and those who played by the rules. pic.twitter.com/pwMrfgF7St

É uma thread inteira, não é com um ou outro só. RAPAZ

Imagine thinking taking money from the government after it forced your business to close is the same thing as willingly taking out a student loan and expecting someone else to pay it back.

Dark Brandon grabbed the White House twitter feed for a few minutes and I must admit it's kinda refreshing.

It should concern everyone that the White House is too stupid to understand the difference between PPP and student loan bailouts

Ah. I see we've crossed the "journalists applaud like seals while one political party uses institutional accounts to dump oppo on the other's elected representatives" line.

Interesting.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
PPP loans ≠ Student loans. But you know that.

Okay, I am loving that the WH is calling out these hypocrites.

So, as a massive attempt at whataboutism, the White House is doxxing politicians who disagree with them today? Totally not banana-republic-third-world insanity happening here.

Oh my god lolololol.

This feels good. Let’s talk about it at 6:15 on Callin.

Love in every Dem needs to echo this and put them on the defensive. But I don’t expect media anchors to push this accurate narrative … #DCCC

I’m here for this trolling.

Damn. The White House has receipts.

With a net worth of $157.2 million, Buchanan is the 6th-wealthiest member of Congress. He received over $2.3 million from US taxpayers in forgiven PPP loans.

The White House has run out of fucks to give and is absolutely decimating the hypocrites who are voicing their disdain for student loan forgiveness while sitting on PPP loan forgiveness themselves. Honestly, I applaud this move. Let's get all the cards out on the table.

Get his ass, the White House!!!

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Make them pay it all back.. why are paid Congress ppl getting handouts when middle/low income Americans are struggling to pay rent that has gone astronomical because of an unchecked pandemic?

I am here for this @WhiteHouse - keep this sh*t up!!!

It's refreshing to see some fight in you.

It feels good to see these hypocrites called on their bull shit but, like, why did we give all this motherfuckers loans in the first place?

Do any Republicans tell the truth?

In reply to @WhiteHouse
I like that the White House is outing these hypocrites...

Fantastic thread!!! Good Job White House! Truth Matters.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Why in the WORLD did so many wealthy congress members get HUGE PPP loans???

In reply to @VernBuchanan
Oh hi Vern. Are you going to pay us back for the $2.3 million in PPP loans you rec'd that was forgiven? twitter.com/WhiteHouse/sta…

The White House fighting BACK 😂😂😂

You forgot @RepTedLieu and any number of other progressive frauds.

You guys know fraud...it's a vote buying scheme called Student Loan Forgiveness.

When ol' Vern graduated high school, it cost 323.00 for a year's worth of college tuition; easily the cost of one textbook now. Even adjusting for inflation, that's only $2,155.34 which *might* pay for one course.

One thing about the right wing in this country, they are not ashamed of being hypocrites! Never have been since way back when they were Democrats. This thread is funny AF to me.

Yeah. Let's talk about all this! Yup. 👍💯

#GOP Congressional members who obtained #PPPLoans intended for #USA citizens then had the loans forgiven, grifting off taxpayers twice...drawing a salary for doing nothing, & getting #PPP free & clear.
White House calls them out...⬇️

@threadreaderapp Please unroll

Fun w/ Forgiven Loan Math

This Congressman, who's against forgiving college loans, has had the equivalent of 230 students' loans forgiven.

This jackass thinks he's personally more deserving than 230 college students.

He's worth $157,000,000, the 6th-richest member of Congress.

#LiberalismIsAMentalDisease
Says the party that will gut SS/Medicare, raise taxes on middle class, & take away women's rights, and ban books.

The same party that supports the 1st President in US history under investigation for ESPIONAGE.

Will #TheFive discuss THIS? 😮😬

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Pay back your PPP loan buddy. I feel it’s unfair that you got it and I didn’t @VernBuchanan

🤣🤣😅 Biden throwing haymakers

In reply to @WhiteHouse
$2.3 million loans forgiven? Wow. And you are crying about $10,000 for student loans? Aren't you so special.

Do it, @WhiteHouse - nail their asses to the wall:

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Love me some #DarkBrandonRising ! #studentloanforgiveness is gonna help a lot of people--43 million. That's about 14% of our total population later & 90% Of whom Earn less than $75000 per year! #BidenDelivers #studentloans Wow! #ThankGodForBiden Vote for Democrats! #VoteBlue pic.twitter.com/BM7y8MLcdU

How can so many folks like these, including homeowners who deduct mortgage interest from income taxes, not recognize that we have subsidized benefits for them and that it's okay to help out those who took out college loans, too?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

Finally, the White House is turning the shit right back in their faces!

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Small change. The family of Congressman @TedBuddNC, who is now running for Senate in NC, had over $10 million in PPP loans cancelled.

But yet there’s no money to help the poor.

Let’s all rt this. Forgiving 10k opposed to handing out millions, even billions in tax cuts &ppp to wealthy? I’d rather give those of need, to reinvest in communities. The greedy republicans who take all they can then act as though helping others is way too much really irk me.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Hey Vern @VernBuchanan When are you going to pay back the $2.3 million? Asking for the blue-collar voters in your district.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
You self-centered jerk, those who owed student debt were mostly hard-working young people who couldn’t reasonably pay it back and needy kids when they took out the loans, many set up by unscrupulous proprietary colleges and trade institutes.

Honestly this level of truth and petty I appreciate. Stop letting these folks talk out of both sides of their neck.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Given your belief of ‘unfairness’ of having a loan forgiven, I’m sure your staff will quickly indicate when the government can expect a timely repayment from you of the 2.3 million dollar loan, right @VernBuchanan?

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Vern forgot to mention that $2.3 million in PPP funds that he had "forgiven"--- and he got to keep ....

Información pública, porque lo de la hipocresía es cosa de los citados.

Me parece un uso impecable y muy potente de una cuenta institucional.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
$2.3M and he has the nerve to open his mouth about #loanforgiveness

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Really! @VernBuchanan This you? Where's your responsibility on repaying that loan provided by us tax payers! Dang, $2.3 million gift from us. And you're complaining 🤨

White House dropping receipts.

The White House has all the receipts and I'm here for it!

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Thank you! Do more of this. Call our their utter lies and hypocrisy.

Wow, the @WhiteHouse tweaks our own @VernBuchanan ! A Jersey girl strikes via Twitter.

Hey @VernBuchanan it's unfair your $2.3 million PPP loan was forgiven. Can you play by the rules and pay back your forgiven loan?
#hypocrite

This is maybe the best thing I’ve ever seen the White House do on social media.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Hilarious, well done.

Was this account hacked? Where has this energy been for the last two years?

Rep Buchanan is upset that Biden wants to forgive $10-20K in student loan debt while he got over $2 million forgiven. Hypocrisy!

I mean look at this asshole who took $2.3 million for his "business" and is pissed off that some working class folks barely scraping by get a fraction of a student loan forgiven.

Rep. Vern Buchanan
@VernBuchanan!
Quite the hypocrite, huh?

In reply to @WhiteHouse
This is EXCELLENT! Well done with this messaging! Republicans have no desire to work for the PEOPLE. They work for themselves and the rich.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
You got called out, and now you are salty about it? You're a very funny fellow! So, will you return the $1.4 million in PPP loans? You are against student debt relief, but you're NOT against your PPP loans being forgiven? WE CALL THAT UNFAIR! #canceltherest #CancelStudentDebt

In reply to @WhiteHouse
If you are calling them all out, don't forget Pelosi had over $1.7 million in PPP loans forgiven, Sen. Wyden (D-OR) had over $2.7 million forgiven, not to mention Rep. Cartwright (D-PA) and Rep. Lee (D-NV).

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Whoa! Call them out! Love this so much. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

In reply to @WhiteHouse
I am here for this! Call out effin Republican hypocrisy.

In reply to @WhiteHouse
Thanks for these tweets! Call out their hypocrisy. Don't let up. I left the Republican party because of what they have become. It's time for what is best for the majority of Americans! Biden has delivered. Don't let there lies go unchallenged. Thanks @POTUS
