Jim, remember the poem on the Statue of Liberty?

The majority of voters in Texas & Florida are not proud of having governors who waste time and money being juvenile, stunt-queen trolls because they are thirsty for attention. #VoteHimOut

Greg Abbott trafficking migrants again. Forcing them to sign NDAs. Not permitting them to choose their destination. Paying a PRIVATE ENTITY inflated rates to accomplish this deed Greg Abbott needs to go. #AbortAbbott

You can almost feel the yearning to breathe free.

In reply to @Acosta
This started as a political stunt but is turning into a humanitarian issue. It’s time for the administration to take action and stop this.

In reply to @Acosta
"carrying migrants"? The use of euphemisms is not good journalism. This is human trafficking.Migrants are human beings, not chattel to be used for political purposes.

In reply to @Acosta
Remember like a month ago when conservatives said people showing at politicians homes was dangerous? Now they’re literally shipping people to homes.

In reply to @Acosta
Playing politics with human lives should be illegal. Definitely not Christ like.

In reply to @Acosta
This is a lot of words to describe human trafficking.

In reply to @AhmedBaba_
They’re using vulnerable human beings, including women and children, as political tools. Disgusting.

QNN: Two republican buses trafficking poor people and children from Texas for political gains arrived at the Naval Observatory near the VP’s residence, according to volunteers on the ground.

In reply to @Acosta
This madness needs to stop. If this is being done without coordination with DHS then it amounts to trafficking.

In reply to @Acosta
It wouldn’t be hard for @VP to make Greg Abbott look like the racist asshole he is Bring them some food and water, say hi, welcome to America, land of the free

In reply to @Acosta
There are better, more mature and more humane ways to go about this.

In reply to @Acosta
GOP human trafficking.

The fact that they're quite literally facilitating the open borders they claim to hate is hysterical.

In reply to @Acosta
Fox had a reporter on the scene so they knew it was coming. So disgusting. pic.twitter.com/w6XB4Px18R

In reply to @Acosta
I want TX Gov. Abbott to go to jail for this.

In reply to @Acosta
Abbott and DeSantis need to be charged with Human Trafficking. WTF @FBI

In reply to @Acosta
While by definition it is not “legally” human trafficking, the tactics being used by Governors Abbott and DeSantis are clear and present dangers. Withdraw federal funding from those states, and reapportion it accordingly to assist with this migration. Write an EO to this effect.

In reply to @Acosta
No respect for human lives. Wow.

In reply to @Acosta
That’s illegal. So this should backfire magnificently.

"One bus is not enough. We must rob TWO BUSSES worth of migrants of their dignity."

In reply to @Acosta
The border is secure, Jim.

In reply to @Acosta
This is so insane. Vote for Beto!

Human trafficking okay by the Republicans! Vote them OUT!

In reply to @Acosta
Jim, why isn’t our border tsar there to greet them?

Trump stole nuclear secrets and Republicans want to cover it up by using migrants as pawns.

Just like lawmaker Emma Lazarus commanded, Jim.

In reply to @Acosta
Well she’s the border czar who hasn’t visited the border. So they’re bringing the border to her.

In reply to @richardhetu
Deux bus remplis de migrants en provenance du Texas viennent d'arriver près de la résidence de la vice-présidente @KamalaHarris. twitter.com/Acosta/status/…

Unlike our southern border, the VP’s residence is secure.

She’ll be fine.

In reply to @Acosta
Aside from how gross the stunt is- HOW it is possible that flying 50 people anywhere costs 12 million???

In reply to @Acosta

In reply to @Acosta
Excellent. Better off in DC than Texas or Florida. There are over 10 million jobs open, reckon we might need more folks to work?

In reply to @Acosta
Call it out for what it is, Jim: human trafficking

In reply to @Acosta
If these governors can’t do their jobs as border state governors, shouldn’t they resign?

In reply to @Acosta
At what point will these assholes be charged with human trafficking???

In reply to @Acosta
Great, send more and send more to Martha’s Vineyard!

Abbott and DeSantis are competing to see who can be the bigger GOP boss.

Love it!

In reply to @Acosta
CNN’s own reporting prior to this tweet made clear that the buses were sent by Gov. Abbott and were expected to arrive at Union Station, not b/c he told anyone, but b/c that’s where he’s dumped these asylum seekers in the past. Do better.

All the kids that had a lot to say about how much it cost for a President to go vote sure are quiet about costs today.

In reply to @Acosta
So Texas has enough money for hurricane cleanups now? At least THAT part is good- right?

In reply to @Acosta
Trafficking humans to own the libs…

In reply to @Acosta
My Governor Abbott and Ron DeSantis are trying to own the blue states and Democrats and they’re using migrants and their children to do it. It’s disgusting. It’s #HumanTrafficking and the media needs to call it what it is. DeSantis and Abbott should be thrown into jail.

In reply to @Acosta
GOP is trash right now. Not very Christ-like of them. They know Dems can govern and offer solution unlike Abbott.

In reply to @Acosta
Brilliant ⭐️ If Kammy won’t go to the border, the border will be brought to her‼️

In reply to @Acosta
I like so many else in Europe and the US stopped regarding CNN as a credible source of News. How much Jim?

el gobernador de texas mandando autobuses de inmigrantes desde la frontera a la capital y los dejan frente a la casa de la vicepresidenta

JUVINILE THINKING BEGETS JUVINILE THINKING

So DeSantis has authority to move migrants in and around our country? I think NOT! He is illegally putting immigrants on modes of transportation and paying with taxpayers money. It doesn't matter who you are you have no authority to be doing such a ugly thing!

Playing games with the lives of people looking for asylum is so on brand for the Christian Right.

In reply to @Acosta
This seems illegal. Since when are Governors in charge of immigration policy?

In reply to @Acosta
Oh good grief. These people are like toddlers. Only they're playing with people's lives instead of with toys.

In reply to @Acosta
Close the border. Defend the nation.

In reply to @Acosta
This is insane. These are people lives you are toying with for political points @GovRonDeSantis & @GregAbbott_TX. Both of you are reprehensible people.

In reply to @Acosta
Abbott and DeSantis are trafficking human beings using tax payer money!!! Lock them both up!!!!

In reply to @Acosta
Treating humans as chattel……..that is the GOP

Britain and Australia sent people back to their country of origin, which was bad but it still indicated a coherent national response. In America they send migrants to parts of their own country that they don’t like which means we’re watching a country collapse in on itself.

In reply to @Acosta
Innocent people are getting lured then trafficked around for political stunts. The Biden Administration should grant these people citizenship and fly them right back to Texas if they want to live there.

In reply to @Acosta

Abusing human beings for political gain. How very Christian of the GOP.
