"Rounding up their own people ..." Racist nonsense. They weren't their own people. They were prisoners of war, people from other tribes, debtors, etc. The idea of "race" and the idea that everyone of one race somehow is the same wasn't a thing until Europeans developed it.
Don Lemon doesn't know about the illegal slave trade. Even after Wilberforce, British agents were illegally trafficking Afrikans into slavery.

England abolished slavery cuz they were no longer profiting from it not cuz it was the moral thing to do. That and they also found in it increasingly difficult to exercise control over their colonies what with all the rebellions.

This is rewriting history. The supply chain started from Europe. Glass beads manufactured cheaply there and used as currency in Africa gave them an overwhelming economic advantage. Slaves were bought for those worthless glass beads and shipped for sale in America and elsewhere.
This is why the Woke try to REVISE teachings of history (and why the TRULY EDUCATED) will have none of it.

Not a single American has the right to demand other countries to pay reparations to their former colonies unless they demand the same from their government. And maybe sort out Puerto Rico first.
