🤦🏼‍♀️ 😂 So they’ll reverse a cut that not even happened YET and it’s going to give them millions of extra money to pay for everything.. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Labour will cut taxes for everyone to pay for there spending spree.. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Same old labour. They would promise to pave the streets with gold and same old lefties believe them. Ain't going to happen. #NeverLabour.

It’s going to be interesting watching Labour being swept to victory on the promise of increasing taxes across the board and telling people their gas central heating is shortly being turned off. Sooner or later the electorate will start listening to what they’re actually saying

i.e. Labour plan unfettered immigration

But they’d keep the other tax cuts worth 10x more 🤦‍♂️ They say this is being paid for by borrowing, so now they say they’ll still borrow 🤦‍♂️ How will it pay for it if it’s being borrowed 🤦‍♂️ Someone’s being dishonest.

I don’t understand - surely that doesn’t even take us back to the tax ‘income’ that we have now! (If basic rate is kept at the Tory new rate of 19%). How will that enable more spending on medical training improvements?

In reply to @PippaCrerar
And if reducing the rate to 40% actually results in bringing in more tax will they then cut NHS budgets to fund the shortfall?

In reply to @PippaCrerar
Is she going to double the number of 45% taxpayers?

Literally cannot wait for morality to return to British politics -

WOW .. all that for £600m 🤔🤔🤔 Labour have accepted well over 90% of the tax cuts. They are only rejecting one, the top rate cut which has a revenue impact of ~£600 million out of ~£26 billion twitter.com/guidofawkes/st…

And these job applicants will come from? Because many firms cannot fill places at present. Or are there plans for yet more massive pension schemes for govt workers and yet more tax?

You've just confirmed how short sighted you are or perhaps you just don't understand simple economics.

In reply to @PippaCrerar
It won’t though. It doesn’t make money, it’s a ‘vanity’ rate.

This is good news but then the question becomes where do you put them? If you are treating more people what about social care? What about more beds, equipment?

Make Education free, free travel for healthcare professionals, Free parking , increase salaries for Drs and nurses! There are lots of healthcare professionals who will come back to work for the NHS if paid what they rightly deserve.

Ask how Sir Keir Starmer KC would meet this pledge made by him at Labour's 2021 Annual Conference; the Fabian Society in January and in his July economic speech, and you'll get no credible answer. #NHS England now has 7.5k unfilled mental health jobs in London, alone. #Lab22 pic.twitter.com/rrDCSrfgJ8

In reply to @PippaCrerar
But Keir says he'll cut taxes for the working people. Do people earning £150k not work?

This could help to reduce reliance on private healthcare services by increasing capacity in the NHS.
I'd now like to hear what the plans would be to increase access to dentists.

so she announcing nothing

"Labour's @RachelReevesMP announces reversing 45p rate cut will pay for big boost to NHS staffing" So she is saying that funding is currently not being spent and is available without borrowing????

In reply to @PippaCrerar
But it hasn’t even happened yet? Where’s the money for all her lovely suggestions actually coming from?

In reply to @PippaCrerar
Time for @UKLabour to say openly and without apology that the super rich, the 1% that own so much, will face a higher taxation and ensure companies such as Amazon pay tax.
