Here is Rick Rizzs's call of Cal Raleigh's drought-busting home run. He's been waiting decades to do this, and delivered.

Excuse this sentimental moment.

Rick Rizzs has been in #Mariners booth for 36 years. Was always happy to defer to his pal - the great Dave Niehaus

Rick has never pretended to fill Niehaus鈥 shoes & has paid homage at every turn

Rick is a real gentleman who deserved this moment
I gotta say when they showed Rick on the video board after the game and you could tell he was crying absolutely WRECKED me. The drought ran SO much deeper than just the players and the fans.
Great call from one of the best around.

I was backstage at a theater performance when it happened, helping with a scene change between acts, my phone in my pocket playing the radio broadcast. I had a styrofoam fountain in one arm, pumping my fist with the other, my colleagues looking at me like I was crazy. Great call!
I can鈥檛 quit watching this

Him grabbing his helmet in awe of what he just did just has me so weak.
I鈥檓 not crying, you are.
Cal grabbing his helmet and saying 鈥淗oly fuck鈥 in disbelief is probably my 2nd favorite thing other than hitting the walk off homer
That just set off another round of emotions 馃槀馃槶馃槶馃槶馃槶馃槶

Still tears! How sweet it is! That was the coolest, most amazing walk off ever! Yes, I couldn鈥檛 sleep ;)

Rick Jizz is the best. No M's broadcaster deserves it more than the Jizzmeister!!!!

I've waited to go to bed until I got to hear this
I miss going to Mariners games, especially when they win.

Waited many years for this. My personal favorite Cal Raleigh puts a charge in a slider and ends 21 year drought. The Mariners win! pic.twitter.com/dkTqI41LOo
This is everything! I just think about Dave Niehaus up there enjoying the shit out of this.
So happy for him. So happy for all of us. #SeaUsRise
I hope T-Mobile is rocking in the Wild Card round. What a story the Mariners have been.
i remember in 2014 when the @Royals ended their 29-year playoff drought. it wasn鈥檛 as dramatic as this but it was just as fun. happy for everybody who鈥檚 a Mariners fan and as a radio broadcaster, just appreciating the call here. it鈥檚 perfect.

I let that repeat for about 5 minutes straight. Beautiful.
Very cool for beautiful Seattle, especially for fellow Seahawks fans; hope the Braves sweep them in the series
Good morning, the first thing I did was watch this like 15 times in a row.
