This is actually wrong. I graduated from LSU’s Manship school of Mass communications. I had my own radio show, and TV show with @KDPomp. Countless trips to ESPN and NFL Network. Then asked ESPN for an internship while playing. Signed in 2013 as First active player a TV contract.

In addition, as an analyst your entire football career is training you to provide analysis of the game. It works similarly to coaching, but putting a player immediately into head coaching in the NFL would be more akin to hiring a former player as head of the TV network.
