Not only great news but the right decision. We have to continue to stomp out the stigma surrounding #mentalhealth. Howie was a great officer and a better human being. Let's be kind to each other as we never know what someone else is going thru. 🖤

Thank you to all who had a hand in this decision. May he rest in peace. 💙🇺🇸
That’s the right thing. A good thing taken care of.

It’s the least we can do.
May this bring some peace and comfort to his families and those families in similar situations.

It's a read-worthy thread.
👀 this could change some things for some defendants even if in later civil suits...

great news! i just hope that the maga republicans won’t try to overturn this decision . Does that mean Trump gets another death to add to his long list (if we consider the time he took to act against Coronavirus)
I fully embrace the contradiction of #ACAB and that this is the very least he deserved. Of course it was "in the line of duty" why did the decision take so long?

What did they do that caused this reaction?
Awesome news ; this was obviously the correct conclusion . I hope they do the same for the other officers that died in the days after Jan 6 as well.
Sometimes, a ray of hope appears which suggests some manner of human compassion and justice. Well done!
