Sounds like his biggest problem was making sure they can claim for Christmas parties, everything else comes second. We can't afford Christmas this year but they worry about how the taxpayer can be made to pay for their christmas. Most immigration is legal. But they know that!

It probably isn't the most pressing issue at present but, it does add a lot of financial pressure and region specific social pressure to the system. Which if alleviated could free up time and money for other priorities.
