Westlake, not Dallas. I walk past his house walking dog daily & noticed him claiming tax exemption after announcing Senate run, posted about it for months. Finally, some light shining on this.

Senators must be at least 25 years old, a Georgia resident for at least 2 years, and a resident of the district they represent for at least 1 year. He fails to meet minimum qualifications

In reply to @TristanSnell
He’s just fibbing a little. Maga is ok with lies & conspiracy theories so they’ll have no problem with this info. They’d rather back an unqualified candidate who has no business running for Senator. I wouldn’t trust him to take my dog on a walk. C’mon Georgians this one’s on you.

Crazy that this is coming out now! Don’t these states validate residency etc?

In reply to @TristanSnell
so does this mean that he's not legally able to run in Georgia? Didn't he have to sign some paperwork before it's a legal run? How's that going to look now?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Why this didn’t come out during the 1st debates, what happened to the opposition research then ? Likely could’ve mattered drastically with some voters in November and enabled Senator Warnock to get over 50% threshold but here we are now.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Any lawyers want to chime in? Is it legal for him to run in Georgia?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Corruption is the biggest thing in Texas.

In reply to @TristanSnell
On-brand for a republican 😏🙄

Yet Georgian Republicans will still try to make it a close election.

What was it y’all were saying about ELECTION FRAUD, again? 🙄

In reply to @TristanSnell
Sounds like a conflict to me but didn't Mark Meadows vote in two different states? Republicans have no ethical boundaries.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Shouldn’t that automatically disqualify Walker?

In reply to @TristanSnell
can you explain to the @ReverendWarnock campaign how "he doesn't even live here" is an effective strategy?

In reply to @TristanSnell
So, shouldn't he be disqualified? You can't run for office in a state you don't live in. If he lives in Texas, that's where he should be running for office. We've already seen New Jersey resident Mr. Oz try to run for office outside him home state.

Omg. Is this real life. WTF? I’ve seen enough.

the stupidest timeline

Doesn’t this disqualify him?

hahahahaaahahahahhahahahaaaaa *deep breath* lmao

Lol I know the campaign investigator who dug this up was jumping when they saw it.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Welp….this is embarrassing. I mean not like everything else hasn’t been embarrassing but….how do you support him now? Also, I’m super sorry for anything I ever said about @harrisonjaime as the DNC chair cause he’s been KILLING THE GAME.

Fact-check: no, it's not true he "legally lives in Dallas".
The CNN story makes it clear when you scroll down. He may get in trouble with tax authorities, but you don't need much to be a resident of Georgia to be a candidate.

He has broken Georgia law and should be ineligible.

That would mean based on GA law that Warnock stays in Senate…

Need someone to enforce it, though…

I’m sure his supporters will give a shit.

In reply to @TristanSnell
I hope he finds out that you have to actually live in the state that you’re running your race in, like Oz did.

You shouldn't be allowed to govern a place you don't fucking pay taxes in. 😒

Can’t wait for this to get shrieked about by resistance twitter for three days and then never mentioned again because it won’t matter.

The Warnock campaign needs to get the TX equivalent of Snooki or Steven Van Zandt to do some trolling. Willie Nelson maybe?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Keep hoping a Tarrant County resident/attorney will visit @TarrantCoTax & chat w/ Wendy Burgess, Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector. Texas Homestead Exemption can only be claimed on resident's primary residence. Have heard Walker has that exemption on his Dallas real estate.

bounce him off the ballot.

📢 GEORGIA! Vote for Warnock! He truly considers Georgia his home.

In reply to @TristanSnell
✅ Well, the RNC considers that a small matter, apparently. They did purchase a GED for Boobert, yes ?

In reply to @TristanSnell
And, no one is going to do a thing about it, he’ll still run, and get very close to winning.

In reply to @TristanSnell
There's a court case right there.

All they do is lie and deceive the American people! This thread 👇🏼

The man is a friggin moron!

In reply to @TristanSnell
I'm old enough to remember that "Dr." Meh Oz lives in NJ...

In reply to @ReverendWarnock
This is wild … honestly he needs to drop out and call it a day.

So Walker is guilty of either tax fraud or election fraud.

In reply to @TristanSnell
I call disqualification! NOW! How about you?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Ok if this is true is it lawful for him to run for office in Georgia?

In reply to @TristanSnell
So can we just mark him as ineligble and move on then?

If he lives in GA as his primary residence he is committing tax fraud in TX.

If he lives in TX as his primary residence he can’t run to be a Senator from GA.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Excuse me, but doesn’t this make him ineligible to be a senator from Georgia according to the Constitution?

guy for whom Herschel Walker living in Texas is the thing that makes him support Warnock. Not literally anything else.

In reply to @TristanSnell
So..seems like he is ineligible for Georgia! @GaRepublicans

In reply to @TristanSnell
The Constitution prescribes that the Senate be composed of two senators from each State and that a senator must be at least thirty years of age, have been a citizen of the United States for nine years, and, when elected, be a resident of the State from which he or she is chosen.

Soooo, Georgians are ok with electing a Texas senator to represent them?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Ahh yes another scandal that someone in the public eye will just get away with and not face any repercussions

More lying GOP candidates. Maybe wear a bracelet with your address on it so that you remember where you live.

This doesn’t surprise me

In reply to @TristanSnell

In reply to @TristanSnell
Dr. Oz and now Hershel. What a huge surprise that GOP candidates are literally carpetbaggers, going where Uncle Mitch tells them, and if elected, doing what Uncle Mitch tells them to do. Both running on their “celebrity” status, without one iota of political or legal experience

In reply to @TristanSnell
Boom. There you go. He lied on his job application & is ineligible as a candidate. Done. No more erection.

In reply to @TristanSnell
just put it on Herschel Walker. Dared him to bring it to her show. The Church Door is open the Pastor said.

In reply to @TristanSnell
He is illegally running for Senator in Georgia

In reply to @TristanSnell
Just when you think he can’t get any dumber, he ups the ante.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Isn't that grounds for injunction to keep him off ballot?

Get him to admit he's Walker Texas Ranger..

In reply to @TristanSnell
Also, underlines the fact that he is doing nothing to serve the general community concerns of GA. No civic engagement. No citizen interest. No causes being championed. NOTHING! He hasn't stater the bills that he will introduce to improve lives. Only obstruction. He was chosen.

In reply to @TristanSnell
You don't have to be a resident to be a candidate, just once you're elected

In reply to @TristanSnell
In MO, we have US Senator Hawley who hasn’t lived here in ages. Had a local state rep lie about where he lived after his family moved across the county (@NickBSchroer). They are all Herschel.

He paid taxes last year in Texas

In reply to @TristanSnell
How could someone from Texas represent the people of Georgia!! What a SCAM!!

In reply to @TristanSnell
He’s required to reside in the state he’s running to represent. So this should disqualify him.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Even Oz was smart enough to change this, right?

In reply to @TristanSnell
Why wasn't this figured out before he added his name to the ballot? Seems like simple things to check before determining someone is a legitimate candidate.

In reply to @TristanSnell
Black Mehmet Oz!

In reply to @TristanSnell
Can't wait for Georgia to change some law to make him still eligible to run.

In reply to @TristanSnell
WTF…he should be disqualified

In reply to @TristanSnell
He's such a fracking potato.

The Dr. Oz Model except Herschel Walker doesn't wear condoms and impregnates women instead of killing puppies.
