This is good reporting on the long-simmering staff tensions on the Jan. 6 committee. But one thing strikes me as odd…

The committee has long planned to release virtually every one of its interview transcripts — including 100+ about Capitol security. Bennie Thompson told me last week that this was still the plan. Unless that’s changed, hard to see how this information won’t see the light of day

More proof that our leaders in DC are living in a bubble. Many warned that Liz was out to take care of Liz. Many warned of this and were brushed aside. My concern is who the @January6thCmte is still protecting. What happened to no one is above the law? pic.twitter.com/Oqkm1RmdRg

I want to know more about members of congress and senate and their involvement. This info would have been relevant to those who just were re-elected.

I hope Chairman Thompson will put his foot down and ensure that both types of info get equal billing in the report. The J6C should not be distorted due to Cheney's presidential ambitions.

This should have been obvious to everyone, especially Democrats in Congress. Liz Cheney wants to pretend like Donald Trump is the problem, when in reality Donald Trump is just a symptom. Conservatism is the actual disease.

This strikes me almost like a misinformation campaign to undermine the committee than anything else.

This is a potboiler - everyone should read it.

I have fumed at times listening to her seemingly let so many others off the hook. I get they want to focus on the biggest fish but so many other republicans should also be held accountable.

There's a big difference between releasing source material and "establishing the narrative" as was their original stated goal. The real dilemma they face is the prospect of establishing a narrative that will be shredded by history. Easier to cut chapters and release raw sources.

Remember her daddy hijacked the account of the Iran Contra crimes

Where are all the far left fools who anointed her House speaker a few weeks ago🤔
Like I've said a million times,
We(Dems) can't have nice things because you all are appeased to goddamm easy.
Steel your spines or kiss the grand experiment goodbye. (j/k...it's already too late)

Is the WP trying to influence public, what did they call it, “acrimony”? The public is enthralled with Liz’s brevity and direct pursuit of a CRIMINAL. Ask staff to resign.
