I think its mad funny that this is one of the only instances in the entire franchise of a Legendary's ability being distributed and it had to be Slow Start of all things

While Varoom does have a dogshit hidden ability, because it gains filter, a fantastic hidden ability, upon evolving, I can't realistically call this the worst

still my fav Pokémon from the new Gen. The people @ game freak just have a sense of humor and gave it a realistic hidden ability. They made up for it with revavroom’s hidden ability too anyways lol
At least it loses Slow Start and gets a GREAT ability in replacement (Filter)
This is the worst Pokémon design in human history this goes right next to the key Pokémon
I really love this species and was hoping it would get one more evolution above Revavrom where it would go full car like... Wario's car.
Thankfully, Revaroom's hidden ability is Filter, so Slow Start doesn't carry over.

I can't believe Durant has Truant of all things, but this is somehow worse. Maybe there'll come a day where a pokemon with Defeatist comes along again, but that won't be as bad as this.
If this thing can have slow start, regigigas can have a New ability like clear body

I like that I said my opinion about an ability and are mad because I don’t think like they do bet they are same people who needs legendaries in normal play through a like they did in arceus and still got beat lol
Are we 100% sure slow start still works the same? I know other abilities (eg. protean) got changed this gen. It probably does, I'm sure people have checked - I'm just double checking someone has checked :/
If it makes you feel any better, when you evolve it, the ability becomes Filter

i guess could work with gyro ball if it even learns it. otherwise total crap. although, Archeops still wins with its Defeatist ability being its only option
Imagine being the poor bastard who caught a shiny one and give it its hidden ability just to see what it is because the games don't let you switch back you're hidden abilities with a regular one

Varoom and it’s evolution we’re already my least favourite Gen 9 Pokémon. This makes it go from simply being disliked by me to being both disliked and ridiculed by me.
From what I know, that ability synergizes with a move it can learn that is more powerful the slower it is. (Or was it when it attacks last?)

At least it's evolutions abilty changes, but game freak really missed it from giving its hidden ability speed boost
