This is the sort of corruption and misuse of public funds that @VoteTrueAndFair is seeking to address with new anti-corruption and Transparency legislation

These are the people who stole all the public money during the pandemic with the help of the Conservative Party

I have no problem with businesses making money, or even PPE businesses profiting from huge PPE demand

That’s the nature of business

But for a business to supply FAULTY or ineffective PPE and get to keep the money anyway - well that is ROTTEN

WHY are there never any ARRESTS for theft or fraud or CORRUPTION in all these many cases?

Every time you see this government try to blame the unions for public sector workers having to strike, remember they allowed this kind of thing to happen. ⬇️

Are you sure didn't type the prompt "money can't buy taste" into an AI image generator?

I for one was overwhelmingly impressed and pleasantly surprised by the extensive, probing unbiased coverage of this latest Tory PPE scandal and the Michelle Mone scandal on both #Ridge and #BBCLauraK except I wasn’t because they didn’t… again

Absolutely sickening. They laugh in our faces, aided and abetted by @10DowningStreet

Another story to investigate. Needing to score a PR victory after his disastrous disappearance to sort his chaotic personal Did Boris Johnson authorise discharge untested patients into care homes? His narrative seems to change pic.twitter.com/vqzemgLw9E

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
please chase them to the Courts. They are laughing at us.

Reminiscent of Barrowman and Michelle Mone enjoying fruits of #PPEMedpro 'labour'. Whilst Barrowman enjoys high life, #LoanCharge victims of AML face bankruptcy. pic.twitter.com/2FBJHuaY5d

The “VIP Lane”, later found to be unlawful, also enabled vast corruption

It is quite noticeable how the people who did this all seem to be the absolute worst.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
He stole from us & is celebrating his life of luxury as many go cold & hungry. This is grotesque @RishiSunak where was your financial management?

Whilst many were risking their lives to care for Covid patients with inadequate PPE, others were filling their boots at our expense.

In reply to @theJeremyVine
Indeed... meanwhile, care to be properly sickened? twitter.com/Gabriel_Pogrun…

Extraordinary story featuring the world’s tackiest birthday cake

Parading your theft from the public purse. Classy

The Corruption that has come out of this Westminster London government is quite amazing isn't it @BBCScotNine #bbcgms @BBCRadioScot

PPE & what Truss & Kwarteng did was the most violently aggressive attack on British soil since WW2. This is the 21st C, just because there are no guns & bombs does not mean it’s not a war. An attack is an attack! + Ukraine might be a distraction. US & UK, same attack. pic.twitter.com/72TM4s1boU

But it’s immigrants fault we can’t see a doctor

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
You're confusing 'business' with scamming. Easy mistake with corruption rife in the seats of power. But if we're going to get the criminals out of power, we do need to be careful over the details. Profiteering is not doing 'business'.

His company made £300K year before Covid, £70M year of Covid for mostly unusable kit - this is just looting public money. How can we write off billions in dodgy contracts?

If the product was unusable why were there no penalties? These people profited from a major catastrophe which threatened humanity. The government was incompetent but the product was faulty. All this needs investigated & punished. Meantime kids are cold & hungry. #ToryBritain

Meanwhile claiming "we simply can't afford to pay nurses and paramedics more". Utter, utter disgrace.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
This is perverted. People should be rioting.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
There is an UNBELIEVABLE level of corruption and criminality in this government.

If I speak they’ll suspend me

🏴‍☠️ This is a Tory scandal. #PPEscandal

💷£149m taxpayer contract for PPE.
🚫£108m of the kit was useless.

This firm’s profits of just £317,000 pre-pandemic ⬆️ 21,700% to £69m. 💼 dlvr.it/Sdpw5p

The incompetence & corruption of the @Conservatives govt again comes to light.
This smash & grab raid of our taxes under the guise of procuring PPE was perpetrated when our current PM @RishiSunak was in control of the country's purse strings.
Pls stop voting for these crooks.

The UK is an example of gaslighting. Protecting these people and marginalising actual working people

Hello @BBCNews @bbclaurak @ChrisMasonBBC
@bbcquestiontime #BBCLauraK #bbcqt,
Is your Ex-Goldman Sachs BBC Chairman Richard Sharp for or against exposing these massive abuses of public finances, enabled, managed and facilitated by the #ToriesDestroyingOurCountry?
#Sleaze #Coverup

All in it together Zahawi? More handouts to Tory friends and donors at our expense. The Tories are rotten to the core. #GeneralElectionN0W

this might be the most on the nose thing of all time

In the words of Harry Enfield and Kathy Burke

“We are considerably richer than yow.”

There's taking the piss out of us and then there's actually pissing on us. To quote a former Conservative Prime Minister this is "the unacceptable face of capitalism".

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
“He said there was no greater motivation than saving people’s lives by helping to stop the spread of Covid-19.” They take us for fools. Why no windfall tax on these contemptible, money grubbing charlatans?

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
when you have finished strip searching kids could you do some proper work

Profiteering in a national crisis should be classed as treason. Yiu know how theft in a riot is looting, well this guy should have is assets seized and facing a court

This is why I won’t go into politics, I’ll do the same as Rishi and Hancock, bussing all my mates. Loool 70m profit? My god

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
Sadly the people who could do something about this, do not care enough to do so. The taxpayers will be left to pay for it. Simply more corruption in the UK.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
Look at the state of them both .!no shame no conscience just plain greedy .!disgusting and you people accept this .no dont think so .enough is enough now .

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
The cake is super disgusting

Meanwhile NHS workers are expected to accept a real terms pay cut.

It can’t be fair…

#joinunison #JoinAUnion -#EnoughlsEnough

Unbelievable story ?

No there are many of these tales of Tory corruption under Boris Johnson and rishi sunak.

Thoroughly sickening

Whoever would have thought the british government would turn into this cesspit of corruption?

I now think that we need to publicly and harshly prosecute people like this. Arguing that the costs are negligible doesn’t cut it anymore. There’s clearly a class of people that scam this country, treat us like mugs, and expect their political mates to let them get away with it.

This is what Tories think is British business success.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
Look at these chancers. Look at the numbers. Oh look, they're also laughing at you. Kudos to John here for his digging back at the height of this astonishing scandal that nobody has been jailed for twitter.com/jwsal/status/1…

Meanwhile millions of taxpayers are struggling. I hope Lady Karma pays a visit soon.

Trash with cash is still trash.

These thieves and their Tory enablers - they're all laughing at you.

They're laughing at us.

Any relation to Boris the D!ckhead?
Probably.
The cake ALONE is sickening.
#FUCKtheTories and their money grubbing pals.
Time for #ScottishIndependence

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system; for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning" [Henry Ford] pic.twitter.com/t7PWkWVHVS

Tory corruption? Absolutely!👇👇👇

Can we fund out where Philip Johnson lives? And Michelle Mone?

But it's the workers striking who are sinking the country.

There are parents going without meals to feed their children this winter, the NHS is stretched to breaking, and school budgets are shrinking. And yet the State can find the resources to guarantee someone's fortune (not won in the marketplace but authorised by ministers). Obscene.

And the revelations keep on coming...

FFS It's a scandal.

In reply to @Gabriel_Pogrund
This guy needs to be arrested and put to jail!!!!

Hospital staff lost their lives because of defective PPE.

These people belong in prison.

The "briefcase of cash as a birthday cake" is indeed an indicator of corrupt behaviour. #GrandCorruption in the UK

Dear @UKSFO

If this isn’t fraud then I’m a Dutch-person.

What does the #briefcaseofcash cake tell you about these people? -They are laughing all the way to the bank 🏦

This all legal but Tories trying to legislate against strikes. Law binding the people while protecting the rich!

Morally corrupt. And this took place on the Tories’ watch #toriesout
