Premier Smith's office says if a staffer from her office reached out to Crown Prosecutors, "appropriate action" will be taken.

This after the Premier said she herself used "imprecise" language when she said she had talked to prosecutors.

1. Danielle Smith campaigned on pardoning Covid-19 offenders

2. Smith said, 3x, she called crown prosecutors about court cases

3. Smith said she was misunderstood and didn’t

4. Crown Prosecutors said someone from Smith’s office e-mailed them.

Smith is lying. Period.

Premier Danielle Smith on her radio show says that she's asked for an independent review into allegations that someone in her office emailed Crown prosecutors in Coutts blockade.

There were also be an emergency caucus meeting today, too. #yeg #yyc #ableg

Yeah right. No one believes this.

How many times has the story changed now?

Smith to Ezra Levant: "I totally called prosecutors"

Smith in her presser last week: "I call prosecutors regularly"

Smith now: "I have no idea who from my office was calling prosecutors"

LOL. She said she did it last week. Clearly she directed the conversations. She just told everyone to hide the evidence and someone has morals. The prosecutor must also be involved in the coverup.

I mean nobody did it. But if somebody did it, which they didn’t, then we’ll absolutely deal with them, which we won’t have to. Unless we do. pic.twitter.com/jAcc3QHLQD

So the “appropriate action” would be her immediate resignation because no staffed is going to do that without being directed to. Of course, she’ll never admit to that.

In reply to @cspotweet
“Appropriate action “ could this be a payout in the range of $253,000.00 ? UCP seem to like that number.

In reply to @cspotweet
You know in Alberta the "appropriate action" for interfering and intimidating lawyers and doctors is a promotion to a cabinet post right?

In reply to @cspotweet

Who had "throw staffer under the bus" on their UCP batshit BINGO card?

In reply to @cspotweet
The only action that needs to occur is call an election...Albertans won't mind a mid Feb vote i'm sure..😏😏

In reply to @cspotweet
Danielle Santos needs to get her story straight.

In reply to @cspotweet
Pathological liar. Yeah…I’m really sure the staffer just randomly reached out. Danielle Smith has no idea what a premier can or cannot do. She’s an imbecile who convinced other imbeciles to name her as the party leader and now everyone can see she has no idea what she’s doing.

In reply to @cspotweet
Dani needs to resign. She’s unfit to run a bath.

In reply to @cspotweet
Smith couldn't tell the truth if she was paid to. Staffers don't just up and do things no one told them to so if it was one who did the actual talking, they still reported to Smith and it's all on her.

In reply to @cspotweet
I’m sure a staffer will be thrown under the bus voluntarily or involuntarily and nothing changes

In reply to @cspotweet
Her problem is that I'm pretty sure the CBC has the emails.

In reply to @cspotweet
Fear not. Hard receipts exist proving @ABDanielleSmith and at least two of her cabinet ministers directly communicated with crown prosecutors to try to get charges dropped. It will come out. Any staffers that also made contact did so under Smith’s orders. This is a red herring.

In reply to @cspotweet
Seems hard for her to keep track of her lies! So many scenarios, which one was the truth????

In reply to @cspotweet
Time to investigate Quanielle

In reply to @cspotweet
Lol ok …so now: 1) promised to do something illegal 2) said she DID something illegal 3) dumbfuk found out it was illegal and lied and said she didn’t do it 4) proof comes out it DID happen from her office 5) most disgusting of all… blames a staff member … ‘bout caught up?

All by themselves right? No direction from our “Premier”

Appropriate action would be a medal. If Smith won't do anything to protect people from prosecution for pandemic era government overreach, someone should.

In reply to @cspotweet
She has decided on the scapegoat???

In reply to @cspotweet
Someone will throw themself under the bus for her and wind up with a nice cushy Board seat appointment.

In reply to @cspotweet
She’s counting on her base to be complete morons. Unfortunately for the rest of us, her base is a bunch of complete morons.

In reply to @cspotweet
There is no way a staffer would have done that without direction from Smith.

We were caught and a giant golden parachute will be awarded to the person who takes the fall for this

In reply to @cspotweet
Pretty sure they were following HER orders, why else would she mention having contacted crown prosecuters in that interview. Coincidinky, I think not.

In reply to @cspotweet
throwing staffers under the bus? A new UCP tradition? that's not leadership.

In reply to @cspotweet
There is no way a "staffer" would have "reached out to Crown Prosecutors" without Smith's go ahead. Any public servant "staffer" worth their weight is an experienced expert at covering their a$$.

She keeps lying and lying and back peddling the original rebel interview.

In reply to @cspotweet
DS can’t even keep her lies straight!
