Rear brake pad fell out down the straight and brake pedal went to the floor. Don’t know how we used to survive those cars. Ken Tyrrell and gang did a walking scan of the long straight to find out what happened and a fan handed the brake pad to him.

I miss Ken Tyrrell, The Tyrrell team was my first love in F1, huge fan of Jackie and Francois and then others inc you and Stefan! Golden days indeed.

Nowadays tracks need to be made so that if you go substantially off the track the gravel stops the car rejoining so that modern drivers without the obvious negative impact of the past know they cannot push beyond their own limitations. Would be way more exciting like old days

That head movement on impact looked horrific, the sport has come such a long way in regards to safety
