Bitcoin isn’t “bad for the environment.”

Just like using your car, hairdryer, watching TV, eating steak, and going to a bar isn’t a “bad thing.”

All energy use is subjectively useful.

Eating meat, at least the amounts in the west isn’t about energy use but the inefficient use of soy, corn and grain. Less or no meat would mean a lot less use of land for agriculture, a lot less methane and a lot less drinking water needed to irrigate and process meat.

If I had an equally effective and cheap hair dryer that used 99.98% less energy then you bet the other one would be considered bad for the environment.

The problem is that close to 1% of the world energy is being wasted on a 5TPS blockchain. THAT'S THE PROBLEM. There are so many better alternatives to BTC. That's like driving a car that uses as much fuel as an airliner. Makes no sense.

Like getting the savage to accept the use of a hair dryer, the savage is terrified. But when he uses it, it becomes a habit, but it takes a process. I think geeks will also enjoy using BTC and have fun with it

Biden likes inflation and illegals. Trump loves walls and failed fiat. Satoshi loves the laws of economics and freedom. Buy Bitcoin.

Think they'll stop when Europe collapses, or what do they need to break in America?

If your car is running on fossil fuels it's good for you and objectively bad for the environment.
