Oh my god, just fucking give Ukraine the Patriot already.
What sort of a divine sign from high above are you even waiting for after 9 months of Russia’s war?
In what order should planets and stars parade so that a political decision could be made?
How many more…

…Russian missile waves should strike Ukraine, taking innocent lives and destroying the country’s vital infrastructure? What high-minded geopolitical concepts prevent you from letting Ukraine end this war — and prove the ultimate effect our your valued contribution?

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
NATO countries surrounding UKR could operate Patriots from inside NATO borders w/coverage umbrellas that extends to 50% + of UKR borders. Difference made up of C-Rams and NASAMs? NATO could claim they are protecting their own borders by extending radar & missile coverage into UKR

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
If I had something to say I'd give you Tomahawk missiles and talk about it that loud, that every single russian knows about that. The missile terror should stop immediately if they fear that all their military facilities could get hit. But maybe I don't see everything right.

Yes. Stop Putin he is a killer

This American citizen agrees. It's time to send Ukraine the heavy metal. #SlavaUkraini

No more funding for Ukraine. Enough is enough

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Illia, before you wrote these tweets, did you answer 2 things to yourself? Is the approval from the US for the delivery already available? And does Ukraine already have qualified personnel who can operate Patriot systems?

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
If you think that Joe Biden Administration and NATO want Ukraine to win their war with Russia, means you don’t understand how Joe Biden Administration work because mostly they are using Ukraine war to enrich themselves financially & they don’t care how Ukrainians are suffering

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
I think most of it has to do with the fact that it is a very advanced system that works really well, so they don't want Russia getting their hands on the tech.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko

Since we we won't or can't take the war to Russia because of the threat of nuclear Holocaust, we have to supply Ukraine so they can at least defend themselves
I think russians must be too comfortable, watching TV & being able to grab a snack.
Interrupt russian infrastructure.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Yep - exactly that, just get on with it already - MBTs, ATACMS, all the Gepards... just get on with it!

Watch out for manipulative reporting on the Issue. This is what Stoltenberg actually said: Ask the US.

It's past time to go all in for Ukraine.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Above all, they might take in mind that Ukraine has already demonstrated its abilities using such weapons.

Sometimes I wish R. Reagan or George Bush (H.W. or W. doesn't matter) were back. What does Russia do to the West today..?! Why are we so blind?

Ja an sich war die Aktion durchsichtig... aber leider scheint sie doch zu verfangen. Siehe:

Alwass the same. International community does not act quickly until it's too late.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Have to be careful w them. Can’t fall into enemy hands, so they won’t be allowed to go to the front. Also, they need to be trained on how to use them. They will probably stay close to the border on the Ukrainian side.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Excuse my ignorance, but I thought Poland was offering to send their Patriots to Ukraine. Is it US bureaucratic red tape, or is there more to the picture that I don’t understand? I hope @SecBlinken and @POTUS will send them to help y’all defend yourselves against the barbarians!

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Starting to see mention of Germany talking with allies about Patriot for Ukraine 🤞

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
They are worried if Russia attacks the patriot launchers and kills the NATO soldiers operating them, that’s a direct Russia-NATO conflict. Personally I’m in favor of attacking the Russian bases that launch the missiles. Why strike the tentacles if we can hit the brain. pic.twitter.com/VCPvN4ZA0i

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
At this point I just think it would be easier to accept Ukraine into NATO and call it a day. It would be justified. Putin wants to pass “referendum” to make territory “Russian” so that he’s justified in escalating. 2 can play that game. Make Ukraine NATO and it all stops.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
America doesn't want to give the world a chance to stress test its premier missile defense system

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Keep in mind that 1 patriot missile system doesn't do much to keep missiles out of Ukrainian airspace. It's meant for an area of about 50 miles radius or, in other words, to defend strategic objects but not a large area.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
What difference do you think the patriot will make for Ukraine? Cause the patriot missiles can be used against drones but it's not cost effective to take out a cheap drone with a much more expensive missile Ukraine needs something like the iron beam hell even a cwis

This easily predictable missile campaign could have been largely mitigated by an earlier allocation of anti-air resources. But, again, Europe made an active decision to fail Ukraine. To deny Ukraine the ability to defend herself. Rot at the heart.

LMAO calm down loser. they'd be embarrassed that it won't make a lick of difference in the war and will get demilitarized

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
They giving the patriot system to Poland to protect itself from ukrainian strikes😂

From effectiveness point of view, jets will be cheaper and way more flexible assets.

The west tends to be reactionary not proactive.

With you on this, my time in Kyiv has many good memories, including proposing to my future wife.

Russia and Putin just go, you have no support and no reason to go to war with Ukraine.

No civilian of either country wants this war, it’s absolute madness.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
The US should have established a no-fly zone on day 1.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
usa will always do the right thing, after it’s tried everything else. i’ve been waiting for usa to put the hurt on finally. it’s only a matter of time, and spineless shitbirds in the way. it will happen, and i look forward to the burger stand that will replace the kremlin.

The Russians can attack Ukraine's infrastructure with inexpensive drones and missiles. They can attack in swarms. Patriot missiles cost about $3M each. Do the math. A less expensive defense is needed.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
It’s been stated they are in short supply

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
The US call the shots. Not Ukraine. Without the US you would’ve been obliterated in a washing machine cycle. Sit and be grateful.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
That's how I see. But that's how protocols and diplomacy works, but you guys will have that and the jets...

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
I’ll have what you are having!

Can’t pretend to know what exactly the decisions are or what has inform them...but from the look of things, Ukraine is on his own. 😔

If You're asking such questions, you've probably not listened to Polish liberals. They're literally killing each other to find an excuse tlfor Germans and blame current Polish govt. UA is going to lose PL's unfaltering support, when the volksdeutsches return to power in Warsaw.

Maybe the US doesn’t want the Russians and Chinese to gaining intelligence on the performance characteristics of the patriot in various combat scenarios.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Illia, its clear that some people are too biased and use every argument to postpone what should have been done, months ago. Please dont lose your strength, faith and spirit.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Well… you need to find out how doing that will make the right politician a lot of money or win him the next election or grant him a more powerful position. Facilitate it and you get what you need. You’re Ukrainian you should know better.

Any idea why we've seen hardly any videos of HIMARS shooting lately? Is the AFU running short on ammo or something? It feels like something's going on

What are the odds about a media blackout and all the NATO forces go all in against Russia for 48 hours and be done with it?

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
Hint: Patriot isn't defending DC airspace. NASAMS is and we've given them two systems.

That’s my question. Why? 9 months is more than enough for excuses. Ah, wars could last many years, they say. Sure. They could end in less than 9 months too.

In reply to @IAPonomarenko
The military companies supplying the arms would, I presume, want a longer drawn out war so they can make more money. But maybe I’m just cynical.
