Today is NASA's Day of Remembrance, set aside to honor those who died in the pursuit of space exploration. Astronauts always have been and always will be my heroes. They are the best of us. #NASARemembers

Today is @NASA' s Day of Remembrance. As incredible as human spaceflight is, there have been terrible losses along the way. Days like these remind us that spaceflight is hard - and sometimes the lessons learned come at a devastating cost. 🙏🏽🚀

I grew up a space brat. I remember soon after the Apollo 1 tragedy my dad bringing home from the Cape all these stickers and signs that said Zero Defects. My dad was not emotional about these things, but he came close with this one. Bless their memories.

When you sing of Columbia or the Eagle And reach for the stars as your ultimate goal, Recall who fell along the way, For the star-road takes a fearful toll, The star-road takes a fearful toll.

no offense, you repeated the same mistake twice. you (NASA) was warned days before the apolo1, Challenger and Columbia and you chose PR over SAFETY. Sadly from what whistle blowers say today you still value PR over Safety.

The man in charge of the Challenger launch crew tried to stop the launch because disaster was guaranteed, but the heads of NASA were too worried about public image and annoyed politicians. He was in the hallway crying when the shuttle took off and quickly exploded.

Tributes from China. When we look back on Earth from space, there should be no borders or races. Politicians and history shape the idea of nations, waging wars on a speck of universe.Hatred, social class, wealth gap never stops on this planet. History will remember those names.

Miren las edades de toda esa gente que se murió. Yo por eso nunca quiero ser astronauta, prefiero ser universo o lo que sea, menos astronauta, se ha de sentir bien feo morirse así:

January 26 is NASA’s Day of Remembrance. This day reminds us that space exploration is perilous, yet scientists and astronauts accept this challenge bravely. This day commemorates the members of the NASA family who gave up their lives to advance the cause of space discovery.

What about that time you douped the world and pretended to go to the moon? I recommend anyone give the tapes a fresh look. Top of the line movie in the 1960s .... Looks pretty silly now.

Who made them “fall” again? Hmmmm… somebody did not know the basics of Physics, & launched on a freezing cold day, knowing the possible consequences. Sin of man problem. It would have cost too much money to delay to another day. 💃🏼♾ pic.twitter.com/2JANOrHVhD
